We have a special needs granddaughter who wears a brace on one foot. Have not been able to find anything that works. We ordered one shoe based on measurements we took and it worked perfectly. Very happy with both the product and the service

I am so excited that these shoes now come in an extra wide, hoping more of the styles will be available in an extra wide. I am so glad these shoes were made and benefit my son with AFOs. For years and years it has been difficult to find shoes that fit with his AFOs, to boot the zipper makes it so easy to take his shoes on and off that he can now take them off himself, huge step!! Post hip surgery he has begun to take steps again and the shoes appear to be a good balance and support for his ambulation. THANK YOU :blush:

As a person with a disability Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis I have not had shoes or sneakers that really fit me since I was about age 7. I have used oversized boots with stuffed toes just to get the instep high enough or an old pair of kids wide birks rigged with elastic cord that almost fit and so many other rigged sandals I could scream. But my daughter was determined that for my 63 birthday which is the day before Christmas she would find me shoes that fit right. Well she found Billy's Footwear! They had adaptive red sneakers that fit! They are a kids size 13, XDR wide width with adjustable laces and a custom fit zipper that opens the entire shoe to allow the best foot placement possible! These are the most amazing adaptive sneakers I have ever seen for my tiny JRA super thick and wide feet! I cried so much. I love you my daughter and I love you Billy's Footwear and all your great staff folks that helped me find the right fit for me. You have a customer for life!! My daughter loves her first pair of Billy pink high tops! Her AFO's fit perfectly into them, give her extra support when walking, especially since she is just beginning, and complete her little fashionista style!

Beautiful looking shoes. Sturdy. Was worried they would be too wide but they are perfect.

I love Billy's High Tops for my son's AFOs. The higher profile on the shoe makes the shoe more stable on his foot. The zipper makes it so easy to get the shoe on and off his foot. The shoes look great and complement most outfits. They are durable and often become replaced due to a growth spurt before they wear out.

I highly recommend these shoes. My daughter has wide feet and wears afos. The zipper makes it easy to get my daughter's feet into them. However, we are having to size up four sizes to accommodate her wide feet so I'm hoping they will come out with an extra wide sizes and in more colors. They are good quality and seem very durable.

The wonderful customer service helped me fit my daughters AFO and SMO into these high tops. They are a great addition to her outfits and fit great!!

Great shoes! Got the shoes in size 6W to accommodate our daughter's AFOs. Zipper allows her to be independent. Thank You Billy Shoes!!!!!

My daughter has worn an AFO on her right foot for 6 yrs. due to an accident. She LOVES Billy foot wear. Until now she has had such a hard time getting a stylish shoe to fit. We struggled and had to buy a boot 2 sizes to big to accommodate her brace on the right foot,,and wear a shoe way to big on her left foot. My daughter is a 36 yr. Old very petite young woman. She just recieved her 2nd pair of Billy Footwear. When we ordered the 1st pair, we didn't realize you could buy an individual size for each foot. How AWESOME is that. The pair she just recieved is Big Kids, left size 6 , right size 7. Wide width. What a difference. I hope her new brace will fit in it perfectly . She is getting the new brace made to take the place of a quiligalock . When she receives her new brace I will send a picture of how it fits . Thank you for making these great shoes to accommodate young children, all the way though to adults in need, we hat a difference it makes. stay tuned for future for future review and picture. It's really hard to find a pair of shoes to fit my daughters AFO. These are really helpful!

These wide shoes are perfect for my daughter who wears kafos. I just wish there were more wide shoes.

We really love the Billi zippered shoes. My grandson was really happy that he could put his own shoe on. Before we found the zippered shoes we had to buy shoes that were too big and they were still really hard to get on. We really love them.

I'm very pleased this shoe fit with my sons orthotic braces. The width and design is a genius idea. I had ordered another shoe online before this and it didn't fit, I usually have trouble finding shoes that will fit him with his braces, and I was a bit scared to order these but I'm glad I did. He loves them too!

My 4 year old grandson was born with bilateral club foot. He has had three surgeries to correct his club foot and finding shoes to fit him correctly has been so hard. Our orthopedic Dr told us about the Billy shoes. My grandson loved them!! He was so excited to get them. They are well made, and we usually have trouble finding a shoe that is wide enough and that is tall enough for him. A lot of thought has went into the design of these shoes, like the double inserts that you can remove for when using AFO braces. I plan on buying more for him.

My son is very happy with such practical shoes designated for AFO. Easy to wear, fashionable, practical, and mostly of Good quality.
