True to their name J&M delivers a great leather boot with comfort and style. The soft foam white sole sets off the boot. The leather is soft and supple and forms to your foot. I own their great soft leather loafer, so I thought I'd try their boots. Very satisfied. I'm usually a 10 but these are 1/2 size big and the 9.5 fit perfect with an athletic calf length sock. If you're going to wear a very thick sock then they would be true to size.

This boot is the most comfortable of all the JM boots I own and it looks great when paired with jeans. I get many compliments.

My first time with the Alpine boot, and I'm definitely impressed. These were more comfortable out of the box than a lot of other leather boots I've owned.

Beautiful looking boot that I wish was as comfortable as their shoes. I love J&M shoes that support with comfort as well as look stylish and was hoping for a boot to match. This model has that rugged yet refined look with metal eyelets but seemed to lack the comfort in the sole area. To me it did not feel like the tru foam was used in this footwear. I love that every agent I speak with at this company communicates well and works to help the customer.

I have over a dozen J&M shoes/boots. Love them. These I ordered on line and found the picture to be where they look best (vs. in person). Additionally the sole and more so cushion are rather lacking. I bought in brown and black. Returning one as they are just not boots I can stand in for a long period of time.

Got a pair of size 11. Fit wonderful but stitches near the front by the laces were out. Returned and ordered another pair and same thing. Will not try a third time.
