This is my 3rd pair of Haflinger shoes. I love the design & comfort of their shoes. I have foot problems with bunions & hammer toes. The toe boxes are roomy. In winter I wear with socks, in summer I put in my Spenco Comfort insoles & they fit great, otherwise they're a little loose. I got the black in a 36, I wear a size 6 shoe. Haven't had any issues with the Velcro as other reviews stated. The strap stays in place as long as I make sure it's actually on the Velcro & not partly attached to the shoe itself. Hope this helps anyone interested in Haflinger brand. Wish they made more enclosed shoes along with their clogs & mules.

I originally ordered this in size 7 and it was too big. I haven't worn a size 6 in over 50 years but I reordered in size 6 and it fits perfectly. I wear a 7 wide but the velcro makes this sandal completely adjustable and ironically I had to tighten the velcro on the size 6. I like it so much I bought 2 pairs in different colors and went back and ordered a 2 pairs for my sister. They were on sale for less than 1/2 of the original price so I got a great deal!

I've worn these shoes from the moment they arrived. Originally ordered to use as slippers, they're the only pair of shoes I own that are pain free from small corns when I walk. I've worn them everyday, all day! It must be the wool lining, the cork and rubber soles as well as the perfect arch fit to my feet.

Finally, a sandal by Haflinger! I love the shoe style, they look great on. They fit great (are true to size) and I appreciate the velcro straps (easy on/off and/or to adjust fit). The reason I gave only four stars for comfort is because the arch support is moderate (i.e., a little less than what I am accustomed to with Haflinger's clogs). I have a high/long arch and a wide foot, so I prefer more arch support in a shoe.

Great fabric and wonderfully made shoes. Great color of navy and they were very comfortable in the footbed. I have a high arch, and after trying them on the carpet a few times, the top strap was tight on my top arch. Super price, too but had to return them anyway.

gorgeous sandal! Unfortunately ran about a half size too big and had to return. Will try the next size down although I never wear a size 6.

Awesome slippers that can handle the trip to the corner store. The felted wool surrounds your foot and is comfortable, cozy and warm. Wear with or without socks, excellent soles that feel great for standing, walking and hanging out. No problem to report with the velcro, I adjusted it once and have kept it in place since. I usually wear a 39 = 8.5 and ordered the 39, which is a perfect fit in this style. I have tried other Haflingers in the past and not all models fit the same way, it probably depends on the cut. I wear a 38 or 39 in Birkenstocks if that helps (My old Gizeh's were a 39 my current ones are a 38, go figure). They feel true to width for my foot, but if you have a narrow foot they may feel wide. My pair of Haflinger Alice were made in Ukraine. I recommend these highly.

I wear Haflingers all the time. These are a little more stylish with the contrasting top stitching and decorated adjustable strap. Will add another pair to my collection soon.

Super comfortable, great arch support, your feet stay cool even though the shoe is made of wool. The best slippers! I love them.

I picked these out last year, and I simply couldn't be happier with them. I was concerned about the reviews I had read about the velcro being inadequate, but I haven't had any trouble at all with them coming undone. I figured even if I did, I could simply take a few hand stitches through the felt, but it was never necessary. The arch support really helps my plantar fasciitis, and I think their style is adorable. My sister turned me on to Haflingers several years ago, and I'm a huge fan of them now. They're the perfect slippers for around the house, stepping out to the car on wet sidewalks or even with jeans for a quick errand. Love, love, LOVE them.

I've had plantar fasciitis and now need good arch support. I've worn Haflinger slippers for years and love how good they feel on my feet. So I decided to try the shoes. They are fantastic! Very comfortable, with or without socks. And I think they're adorable!

I simply love these little shoes! I already have a pair in purple and wear them all the time. They are so cute looking and feel so good on my feet. I have had several foot surgeries and these are the only shoes that I can easily slip into and wear all day without any discomfort what-so-ever. I not only like the shoes, but the service from Zappos is the best.

These are cute Haflingers. They run true to size. Sorry I have to return them as I ordered size smaller because the Halflinger Jewel I tried runs big.

I love these Haflingers. The first pair that I ordered were too big. Returning merchandise is very easy. I printed off the prepaid postage, shipped them off, and ordered a smaller size.

I bought the jeans color with the tan sole for in-house. The neutral sole color won't leave streaks. The shoe is cute, comfortable, and hopefully will last. It is important for me to know where a shoe is made. Although the carton and label are in German, there is no mention of it here. I hope the shoe is at least made anywhere in Euro Zone.

These are cute and just what I needed for adjustability on my bad foot. The regular clogs were too tight on my instep, and the Velcro on these allows me to loosen the instep as needed. I purchased them a little large to wear with socks. There's plenty of width if you have wide feet. The wool wicks moisture. These are great for wearing around the house and even running into town.

I heart my new Haflinger shoes! I have achy feet. My arches and heels are soar everyday. I invested some money back in October and purchased a pair of Haflinger house shoes. They are so amazing and comfortable that when I don't have them on my feeters, I ache for them. This is when I decided to purchase the 'Alice' shoe. They are just as amazing! The cork is the perfect fit and the wool is warm. Tip: order one size smaller, they run big. Zappos customer service is the best out there! I love you Zappos and Haflinger!

I am in love with these shoes! Perfect for chilly spring days when I still want to wear capris. I have some Haflinger Grizzlys and these fit the same. I was hesitant to order these because others didn't like the Velcro. I've had zero issues with mine and have been wearing daily for weeks- even stays put tight when I bend down flexing my foot and really pulling on the strap. BUT I don't mess with the Velcro. I adjusted it when I first got the shoes and now I just slip them on. I wear them with and without socks and I can leave the Velcro put. I wear a size 7 in most shoes. In Birkenstock I wear a 36. Haflinger I wear a 37. Yay Zappos for selling Haflingers!

Best slippers! They offer excellent arch support and comfort. I wear a size 41, but went with a 42 as I would be wearing socks.

Haflingers are excellent! Especially if you are an orthotics wearer, not that the orthotic will fit into the Alice (and, also probably not the other clog styles), but that the shoe's construction and fit and awesome support of your foot will feel as if you are wearing your orthotic. I have several pairs and am now gifting this pair to a sister-in-law who needs a slipper/outdoor-compatible shoe that is supportive. Buy them today! You will not be disappointed.

I have another pair of these clogs in another color and they are both great. The style and fit are roomy, cozy, and comfortable, especially in winter. Delivery was very quick and I highly recommend, both the shoe and the store! This is a roomy style shoe, so it is a little wider, but comfortable and the Velcro strap keeps it from sliding.

I love Haflinger's and this is an adorable one, but I need a size 35 so sadly I must return the size 36 that I decided to try. I certainly hope that Zappo's will soon carry this shoe in my size!

I love the comfort of Haflingers and I just couldn't resist this adorable version in eggplant with green accents. Comfortable and funky, a perfect fit for me!
