I'm a funeral director and have worn the Kenmoor for the past 20 years. It is a classic shoe, not trendy but always in style.

My everyday work shoe. Office and on-site. Take minimal care of the uppers, re-sole when necessary and they'll last forever. Keep a well stocked shoe kit. I've got a pair that are over 10 years old and they still get compliments!

When I wear conservative suits or sport coats, I usually wear Kenmoor longwings as well. They invoke class, strength, and classic styling - in a word they are impressive.

I have about 35 pairs of shoes. For the last 30 years, the only dependable shoes I wear are Florsheim Kenmoor....I have them in every style and color made, and I even have back-ups for all. I require a strong, heavy-duty, supportive and good-looking shoe, and (unfortunately), this brand/model is the only shoe that
makes my feet and legs feel good all day long....I almost never give reviews, especially this praiseworthy, but I don't know what I would do without the Kenmoors....I even wear them daily with jeans. When I use the other shoes I own, within an hour or two, my body does not feel good....tired and a bit sore.

Fantastic shoes. My dad had the same shoes back in the day, and they still hold up as a great business shoe today. Excellent quality! They will be a mainstay for me, and should last a very long time.

The best looking wing tips out there and built to last. Royal Imperials used to cost well over $300 way back when, and they're worth the coin. To me they run large...at least a full size...and make sure you have a shoe horn.
No problem exchanging as Zappos shipped me another pair straight away and a return label for the pair that didn't work out...no additional costs, just dropped it off at the UPS store and I was done...customer service is top notch.

Perhaps one of the best shoes on the market. This is my third pair. Two pair of wingtip S and one pair of plain toe. Love these shoes

Florsheim Imperial Kenmoors are a very traditional dress shoe....something your father or grandfather might have worn. However, with a fine tailored suit (or sport coat), you cannot go wrong. Florsheim Kenmoors will set you apart from the others, and people will notice.
Personally, I believe the quality took a slight down turn a few years ago, but appears to have gotten much better. You cannot beat the soles...very thick goodyear welt construction that can be re-soled time and time again.
Allow a few days of wear to break them in, but once done, they are extremely comfortable...in both summer and winter. Surprisingly warm in the winter.

I have wide feet so finding shoes to truly fit is hard, even if they are allegedly the right size. These fit well right out of the box. On the PLUS side, the shine on the shoe is great. Look really nice. It is a very durable shoe. On the MINUS side, it is a little heavy. The leather is fairly stiff at first but after a few hours of wear, the shoes were good. I like these shoes and would recommend them to others, particularly if you have a hard to fit size.

Before entering the Technical Industry as a software developer, I sold shoes for a Maryland chain name Hahn Shoes. The premier line of shoes for men were Florsheim. We hardly ever sold the Kenmor Wingtip, but they were always in stock. As a 20 year old, I was not attracted to the Kenmor as I was drawn toward more stylish in vogue shoes (mocs, cap toes, and stylish wingtips), however knew that the Kenmor was a solid shoe whose classic style transcends generations of "marketable fashion" and fits comfortably within any fashion era. I wear these shoes proudly with suits, khaki's, and jeans. I would wear them with shorts if my wife would let me!

I have worn Florsheim Imperials for over 30 years, and can not recommend them highly enough to any business professional. The construction is solid, and the look is timeless.

I have had a pair of these Imperials since the 1970's. They are excellent shoes that run large. I usually wear 8½D but in these it is 7D. I miss the metal triangular steel heel cleat. And, of course, Zappos is the greatest!

I have owned five pairs of Florsheim shoes and every pair has been top quality. I like a heavy stiff dress shoe that is both functional and stylish and these fit the bill.

There are no Florshiem stores in my area. I was leary of online purchases, but it was better than when I could go shopping.

I had these shoes when I was in high school in the 70's. All studs were and still are cool wearing them!

Had some problems with leather peeling off of some pairs but mostly very good results with comfort through out the years.

I have not worn any dress shoes except Kenmoor Imperial since 1981.
They are unbelievably comfortable for standing and walking.
Well made shoes that will last many years, of course you may have to have new soles put on.

I was looking for a replacement for a pair of well-worn Florsheim Imperials, a model which was not listed on Zappos. I found these which appeared to be the very same shoe. In fact, they are the same, including the inscription Florsheim Imperial; on the inside of the shoe. Ordering was easy, shipment prompt. Great shoe!

used for formal dress
quality made, comfortable, classy, replaced the same item which I purchased in 1967, and that pair was still, very serviceable.
I intend to buy another pair of a different color.

If you sometimes wear an 11 and sometimes wear an 11 1/2, then you should try the 11 in this shoe. The shoe conforms beautifully to your foot and the break-in period is shorter then you would expect for the traditional high quality and initial stiffness of the sole. The style and leather finish work with nice khakis or a suit. Awesome shoe.
