The Como tassel loafer is one of those "legacy" models that dates back generations. I recently acquired a new old stock of recent vintage pair in the classic black cherry. No other dress loafer combines the experience of looking like a million bucks while feeling like you're wearing an old pair of broken-in quality slippers like the Como. I've noticed that sizes are very limited right now and I hope that this isn't foretelling discontinuance or moving toward a non-leather sole successor model. If ain't broke, don't fix it and in the case of the Florsheim Como Tassel Loafer, please stock it in all sizes.

Another great pair of shoes from Florsheim. Nothing has changed.

This shoe has the quality that Florsheim has always provided in leather upper and lower shoes. Have not worn this pair long enough to soften up the sole. It will happen in time - probably not before lesser quality shoes have almost lost their "newness". Thus far the soles are still stiff enough that it is difficult to feel enough brake pedal feedback to stop smoothly without putting extra pressure on the brake pedal when stopping. The brakes on my main vehicle are very sensitive, so this is not the fault of the shoe, just an adjustment to be made when driving while wearing these shoes.

I work as a Realtor in a resort area where the sales of homes are typically high priced . Because I interact with mostly 'well heeled' clients I personally prefer to show up to the office in a professional manner as a matter of respect to the folks that I'm dealing with .Usually I wear either a Polo style shirt or in cooler weather a long sleeved dress shirt . Beige or black casual pants are the order of the day . I also don't want to be 'over the top' ( because it is a resort area ) so suits are never a consideration . .That is why I chose the "Como' shoe . It is a casual appearing loafer BUT it has a nice quasi professional look .

Beautiful shoes. Dressy. Leather upper and soles are what I prefer.
