Sole wore out in 2 + years but I wore it a lot!

Favorite shoe. This is the 3rd pair my husband has bought from Florsheim.

I've been buying the Como for many years and I love them. They're very comfortable and look good for the office as well as on weekends. Reasonably priced, good value. Wearing them nearly every day, they tend to wear out after 6 to 9 months, but then I just buy myself another pair because I like them so much.

Airport friendly

I started wearing this Florsheim model 20 years ago. For a moderately priced shoe, it is stylish and durable, wearing evenly and finally requiring replacement after 12-18 months, depending on usage. It is comfortable, and appropriate for anything from job interviews to heavy shopping. The only negative is a tendancy for the toe to collapse downward after a few months, making the shoe prone to scuffs at the front. Wide sizes (D and 3E) may notice wear on the outside, near the base of the toes. I have two pair (both colors), 2 pairs of each in reserve, and will continue to buy this model until it is discontinued - at which point I will buy the remaining stock in my size. This is one item of apparel I do not have to worry about in the morning.

An excellent shoe that holds up and retains its shape even after repeated wearing. These shoes are a real value and I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs footwear. The foot slides all the way in and truly supports the foot. (It does not get wide and sloppy after it is worn a few times.) There is enough side support and insole padding to prevent the foot from getting tired. Buy a pair and enjoy great foot comfort.

I use the product for dress and casual wear and it feeles good and is very comfortable and is a very stylish shoe.

I have owned Como's for many years now. The burgundy with tassles was another great purchase. No complaints. Keep making these shoes!

I've been wearing this shoe for 20 years, and it has changed little in that time (thank God). Although not the super-luxe of the high-end slip-ons, it is comfortable, durable, and can take a beating and still look good. With hard (every other day) use, they can be expectd to last a year or more, longer if re-heeled and re-soled. They take polish well, break in quickly, wear evenly and can be crunched in a suitcase and still look good when put on. I would have preferred a true brown to the Black Cherry color, but that is a personal choice. The only drawback is a tendancy for the toe to collapse as the shoe ages, requiring special attention to the front so that the front leather doesn't abrade. If Florsheim ever discontinues this style, I'm going to buy 10 pairs of each color, just so I don't have to shoe-shop for the next 10 years!

It is the first I have worn this type shoe from Florsheim---really like it.

I was having foot problems and tried this shoe in the 1980 time frame. I have worn this shoe for all occasions except sports and walking since then. It is the most comfortable shoe that I have ever found. They are consistant in size and quality.

This is a great shoe. I repeatedly buy this style. Always comfortable and fits right - 12EEE. I use this shoe for work, personal, church, etc., so it gets a lot of wear. I buy another pair every 4 - 5 months.

Lasts forever. New pair replacing a 15+ year old pair. Old pair still looks good.
