I had already been wearing black Forecasts for some time and wanted a brown pair. If anything, these tobacco ones are even-nicer looking than the black.

I hesitated to order on line, however, I needn't have worried. The shoes fit perfectly and very comfortably. They are light, and have excellent cushioning and support in the sole. They have a great grip when walking on slick and even wet surfaces...I have already had experience in that kind of situation. No worry about slipping in these shoes. Though I have not had them for long, they appear to have the quality construction I would expect from Florsheim.

The shoe is stylish, comfortable with the special soles, and waterproof (which works great in the NYC weather). The best dress shoe I've ever owned!

I purchased the Forecast black to wear at a wedding in Florida. The shoes were very comfortable on a very hot day. I have since worn them many times and feel better each time. I like them very much!

These are the ideal shoe if you live somewhere like I do where the winter brings blizzards and deep snow and the summer brings strong storms. These are very comfortable and they take and hold a shine really well. The weatherproof construction sacrifices nothing in appearance or comfort. You can't go wrong with these year round!
