Classy design. I've owned multiple pairs of this model over the years and for the price it can't be beat.

These are really comfortable shoes but the price is too much. My first pair lasted 5 months. The bottom of the sole has a tendency to start coming apart. Also the buckle snapped off on my other pair. I don't think I'll reorder any more.

They were a gift to my husband for his birthday. Florsheim shoes are the only shoe that fits his foot perfectly. He literally cried during his birthday party when he pulled them out of the box. He said, " you don't understand!" It's so hard for him to find 11C. Thank you so much you gave me the opportunity to knock it out of the ballpark!

I'm a Michael Jackson Impersonator, after years of speculation and debate, what I'd always suspected was confirmed in Michael Bush's book King Of Style Dressing Michael Jackson. In this book by Michael's costumer he reveals that while he was constantly bombarded with requests from various shoe designers to build Michael's dance shoes, he began his career in Florsheim penny loafers and never changed brands...it was what he learned to dance in. While he used many different styles of Florsheim loafers through the years, this particular model was his preffered shoe. Thanks Florsheim, these shoes are great!!!

Have been wearing this shoe since the early 80's ... Their quality and appearance have remained high and the sizing has been consistent throughout the years .. For dress shoes, I buy nothing else!

The strongest endorsement I can offer is that I have worn these same shoes for 20 years, at least 15 purchases. They look good in my professional occupation, and they are comfortable and easy to slip on. I also love the ease of ordering by computer without going to a store, since my size never changes. There have been some fluctuations in quality over the years, with differing countries of origin. My perception is that quality is now under control.

I have bought this style shoe for the last 40 + years. I have a long narrow foot (11 1/2 A). I like the ease of o slip on (loafer). I have tried others but no luck. The 'last" that Florsheim uses is the only one I found where the slip-on does not slip off when I walk. My Dad used to buy Florsheim after he got out of the Navy in 1946 so I picked up the brand from him. I buy a new pair about every 5 to 10 years, alternating black and brown. For those not familiar with the term, here is the Webster definition: A last is a mechanical form that has a shape similar to that of a human foot. It is used by shoemakers and cordwainers in the manufacture and repair of shoes. Lasts typically come in pairs, and have been made from various materials, including hardwoods, cast iron, and, high density plastics. I guess Florsheim shoes are built to "last". Pun intended.
