Good things cost money. I have an AA foot and it's just impossible to get a narrow shoe that's stylish. I've bought these shoes for over thirty years, simply because the "few" other manufacturers are $100 or more; and their shoes are unattractive. Yes, they wear out quickly, but I have four pair and rotate them every day. I buy a new pair once every two years. After one year, I have them resoled and re-heeled and their ready for another year. At the end of that year, I buy another four florsheims.

I bought this same shoe in Black a few years ago and have gone from wearing them as my best dress shoe to my everyday shoe and they still look great. Since my adult life, I have worn size 101/2C not 10 or 101/2M.
A medium width shoe is not comfortable for me and that's what's mostly offered in today's shoe market.
Now with this purchase, I have two pairs of shoes that fit me out of all the shoes I own. Please keep C width in your line of men's shoes!

Narrow sizes (AA) are hard to find and these are great looking shoes. I have been wearing this style of shoe for over 15 years. Wish there was an option in the lineup for something other than leather soles as they wear out quickly and absorb rain water. These shoes are comfortable enough to wear to work the first time you put them on.

I tried this shoe based on several reviews stating how comfortable, etc. I bought both colors and the reviews are correct. comfort, fit, support, all great. Now I would like to add from another review. Why not make these in a penny, bit buckle, and other buckles.

These shoes fit perfectly. Thye really don't need a break-in period. Zappos is the best when it comes to shipping. It is prompt and is delivered when stated. I highly recommed using Zappos.

This is a fantastic shoe, it's ideal for the office environment, whether in a full suit and tie, or business casual. Also works well for a casual evening with sport-jacket and slacks.
I've bought this exact shoe several times after wearing-out the previous pair. A new pair can easily last 5 years, especially if you periodically replace worn soles. But eventually, even the upper starts to wear-out, and I just walk into my local Florsheim and say 'I need another pair of these.' All in all, I've probably been buying and wearing this shoe for well 25+ years.

I have owned numerous pairs of the Como, in three colors. This is by far the most comfortable dress shoe I have ever worn. I am an attorney, on my feet a lot, but this shoe feels as good at the end of the day as in the morning. It is dressy enough to wear with a business suit, but works equally well with a blazer and slacks.

This shoe was recommended bu our ballroom dance teacher as the best men's shoe to dance with. I bought it for my son who is studying to be a dance instructor, and he loves it. Elegant, excellent construction, fits like a glove and he used it the first time to dance all day - no break-in time required.

Great Shoes! The sheepskin leather makes them soft and supple, right out of the box. The Imperial Como is my only work shoe, they last about 3 years then I have to replace them, mostly due to the soft nature of the leather. I use orthotics inside them and they are super comfortable. They are not for rough-n-tumble-type wearing, these shoes are the ultimate for loafer comfort and dress style. They run true to size and the soles last about 1.5 years before replacement is necessary. I'm on my 4th pair in 15 years, wearing them every work day. I have both brown and black and alternate for even wear.

I took the shoes from the box before spending a 12 hour day in the office, sitting, standing and walking place to place. At the end of the day my feet felt as good as they did when I started my day.
