My daughter loves the fit and style of her first pair of Docs. She says the leather is really soft. She wore them around the house for the first week or so, just to be sure she liked them and to break them in slowly. After she wore them for the first full day today, she said they didn't irritate or rub her feet at all. Very satisfied with this pair of boots.

they are great! recommend thick socks they are very stiff and feel like even after I break them in they will still be hard on the inside.

I bought these as a surprise gift for my girlfriend. she loves them, has been wearing them everyday for 4 days so far, and says they are very comfortable and fit great. so far no pain in breaking them in.

Love these! I’m normally a 7.5, I ordered 8 because I wanted to be able to wear thicker socks. So they are slightly big but will be totally fine with socks that are thicker than the no-show types. They definitely need to be broken in to be more comfortable but right out the box are not bad. Will totally order in different colors!

My 15 year old daughter has worn them everyday since I bought them for her! Its hot outside right now- JUNE!!! she loves them!!

I have a narrow heel, low arch/instep, slightly wide across the ball of my foot. These are a perfect fit for me in my usual size. They may be a bit too roomy for those with narrow feet. But for me they were perfect right out of the box. Plus, even though I’m a size 11, they did not make my feet look big - which I kinda expected they would.

A little loose... but I would not size down a full size. I love them!

Are usually wear a size 7 1/2 in boots and in Vans. I originally ordered these in a size 8 but had to return for a size 7 and the 7’s fit perfect. The paten leather is definitely super squeaky at first but if you rub Vaseline or lotion on them, which sounds strange it will definitely help get the squeak to stop faster. Comfortable right out of the box

Love love love this style!! I am 5.5 and according to reviews it says to size down if you are between sizes. But size 5 came in and felt so tight in the top of my feet and narrow. But super easy to exchange . I just printed the label and will drop off at UPS tomorrow. My size 6 will arrive next week :) can’t wait!!!

Shoes fit great and wife loves them.

Other than the basic tight DR Martens Leather feel you read about. It's a shoe to love. You may have to get double socks or silicone socks to break them in. Or dive right into it. Like my 4 year old did her's lol. But overall I Love them. Since my Silicone socks haven't arrived. I've had no choice but to wear them as is, and I've had no problem ?

I tried on the smooth black version in size 8 and it was HUGE on me. After reading the reviews I opted to order the Nappa Leather in size 8 and they fit perfect. They feel a bit less bulky that the smooth black too which for me is a plus. I prefer shoes with minimal to no arch support and a firm sole and these fit the bill. I can tell they will require a little breaking in but that's always been the case with Docs in my experience. I haven't owned a pair in about 20 years so these are taking me back and I love it.

Just too shiny for me. Even though they are not patent leather they look too much like rain boots and not the look I wanted.

These look great with everything and once broken in are quite comfy. I fiery how much I loved the brand and might just have to get more colors!

I usually wear a 6.5 so I started with the 6 and it felt great...until I put my orthotics in. And then they were way too tight on the bridges of my feet. I exchanged them for a 7, which fit my orthotics just fine! I wear them with thick socks, though, and I tie the laces tight. I feel very cool the moment I put these bad boys on, which is saying a lot for me! I got the Napa leather, and they are so soft that all I have to do is make sure my socks cover the entire height of the boot’s inside and I am blister-free!

Price was highest around, shipping charges were high compared to others! However, easy to order and fast delivery!

I’m between a 7.5 and 8, so I ordered the US 8. They are true to size in length, but as others have said the instep is snug and I don’t have high arches. Time will tell if they soften up as I’m only on day 1 for break-in. A lot of it is because the tongue isn’t completely flat like most shoes - the edges are folded, adding extra material there. I only rated them a 4/5 for comfort because I wear truly comfortable shoes (like my Brooks Ghosts) and these boots aren’t a true comfort shoe. So in the shoe world they are 4/5 and in the boot world they are more like a 5/5 (after break-in). The soles are nice and thick amd bouncy but there technically is no arch support. But for me the soles make up for that. As for looks, these babies are gorgeous. I got the Black Cherry Arcadia, which has a shiny finish. Not as shiny as patent but pretty close. They are very dark with some red showing at the heel and toe. But I’m worried that they’ll eventully not look great because I’ve read that this is a two-layer dye, with red leather on the bottom and black over the red. Others have said once the black scuffs off, the bright red underneath shows and it looks like paint flaked off, and I’ve seen photos online that verify this. Some love it, some hate it. Time will tell if I can live with this or not.

Absolutely love these boots. I’ve worn them almost every day since I got them. They have looked cute with more outfits than I had anticipated. They were a little “tough” at first given the material I expected that and can already tell they’ve broken in. I wasn’t sure which style of Dr. Martens boots to go with because there are so many to choose from that are all rather similar. These were the right ones to go with and turned out exactly how I wanted. Definitely recommend.

You have to break them in a little, but it’s so worth it!

These boots are beautiful and comfortable. It took a few days to break them in though. The patent leather is a showstopper.

I used to have Docs back in the 90s when I was about 10 years old, so I couldn’t remember how they fit.. I just remember that I LOVED my Docs... fast forward to 2021.... I decided to order the 1460W since I know that unisex 1460’s run too big for women...I went with the Napa Leather since it is softer and easier to break into. I am a size 8.5-9, depending on the shoe. Typically I wear 8.5s in sperry’s, sandals and flip flops, but 9’s in most of my Nikes, and I get a 9 in my UGGs and Timberlands and other boots so I can wear thicker socks on very cold days. I ordered these boots in an 8 and 9. I wore both pairs for an hour each. I had a thick sock on one foot and a thin sock on the other. I was torn with which size to keep... the size US8 fit very true to the size and shape of my foot. The only issue is that the 8 aggravated my Achilles’ tendon. The positioning of my heel on the boot was pressing on my Achilles’. I have had three knee surgeries, one being a total ACL reconstruction, and the last thing I need is Achilles pain to aggravate my hamstrings and my knee. I can tell that if I wear these boots enough that they will break and the Achilles’ pain could diminish, but I don’t want to take chances. The 9 was slightly big on my foot. Not super huge, it big enough for me have concerns of stretching out overtime .. HOWEVER, the 9 had a more out of the box comfortable feel.. I had no Achilles pain at all.. the 9 felt great with the thick socks too. One major thing that I can tell you all about the difference between keeping your true size and going down a size is the ability to spread your toes. I know with athletic shoes, it’s always good to have a shoe where you can comfortably spread your toes. With the 8’s I could hardly spread my toes. With the 9s, I could spread them significantly. If these boots came in an 8.5, they would have been PERFECT AND IDEAL.....So, I decided to keep the 9’s. I know in the long run my feet and my back, knees and hips will thank me. I have a degree in exercise physiology and one important thing that I learned is that one of the major contributors to back, knee and hip pain and injuries are ill fitted shoes.

So comfy! They’re really cute and I get tons of compliments on them!

This boots are spectacular!!! I've been eyeing them for a while now and finally bit the bullet. They are stiff at first but I'm hoping they will break in after a few wears!! LOVE
