I love the looks of this shoe & think it's beautiful. I get a half size larger to accommodate problem feet and this shoe size works very well for me. My only disappointment is that both the sole and insole are thin and not cushiony. Not good for my arthritic painful feet, however, I'll be replacing the insole with orthotics so that will help some. These definitely won't be used by me for long walks but fine for lunch with friends.

Comfort is important to me and these Josef Seibel shoes are perfect! I have another pair of JS's and I have really appreciated them for the comfort as well. Obviously they are a little more expensive, but definetly worth it. I have a difficult foot to fit and often end up with a tie shoes so there usually isn't much of a choice for me.

The sizing was correct but the stitching could be felt on the inside of the shoe. I hated these did not work but for the price? Seibel can do much better!

Had to return them, way to narrow

These feel like you want them in every color. Lovely leather in a sea of plastic and fabric shoes. Very sophisticated casual in style. Wish they came in red

I am very happy I got these shoes as Joseph Seibel's have always been comfortable for me right out of the box. I did have to add an insert for my arch as I have bad feet. I actually like the color and style and I know they will last a long time.

Great shoe. Has a casual, sneaker-like vibe that you can wear more places than an actual sneaker or running shoe. Old-school European sizing. I wear a 7D and the 37 fits great and accommodates a lightweight sock. The footbed offers moderate arch support but not cushioning. High-quality leather.

These were so cute with jeans, but just not cushioned enough for my aging feet. Orthotics would have made them too small. Returning.

The size is perhaps on the small end of "true" so if you are bw sizes, oder up. The shoes are very good looking (they hardly look like sneakers) and very comfortable. I walked several miles in them on first wear with no problem.

I ordered four pairs of brown oxfords to try. Two didn't have enough for my doctor prescribed orthodics. When you wear orthodics you removed the arch support in the shoe itself, which was very easy to do, they weren't glued in. Once I had my orthodics in place and put them on, I knew I had found the right shoe. They are very comfortable and have an updated style but thankfully no white sole or white trim at the sole. I'm very happy with them.

Right shoe was loser than the left. Also, I could feel the outside stitching of the shoe on the inside - it would rub against my small toe and cause irritation pretty easily.

I loved these shoes and really wanted them to work. I like them very much. However, the soles are a bit stiff and are not as flexible as most soles. They also make a bit of a clacking noise when walking. I would have liked a bit more softness under my feet. Size fit fine, and they are well made-just a bit stiff.

The leather is so soft, insole also leather and cushy. A couple of rub spots resolved with moleskin. Already a ton of compliments on them

I wear braces and need a shoe that fits, has a removable footbed, is easy to get on, and hzs style. These fit the bill. I might have to get another color.

I kept seeing these on my social media feed. They finally got me and I’m glad! These are super comfortable and look great with summer dresses.

Does not hurt bunions or scar tisdue

Unlike some other reviewers, I found these shoes to be too large, even with thick socks. I really wanted to keep them; love the style.

Great looking shoe, however, with the width too wide it wouldn't a good shoe to take during a trip that will have lots of walking.

The shoe was made with quality. It looked expensive with nice leather and stitching. I usually wear a 39 N but thought since it was a tie shoe that I wouldn’t need the narrow width. Unfortunately the shoe had a very narrow toe box and did not fit me well.

I was looking for a pair that I could use to walk around the city from miles that would be comfortable and stylish. These shoes do all the miles. They do look a little bit like bowling shoes. Overall I’m very happy with the look and feel of these lace ups.

In all the pictures and even in the video, there are no laces tied on the top of the shoe, making me think the laces were elastic. They are not. I can't imagine how the model in the video was wearing these shoes - with the laces tucked inside? Deceptive!

Unfortunately, the tongue was too high on top of the foot and it rubbed badly. So I had to send them back. Otherwise, they were perfect. Stylish and lightweight.

Lovely shoe however not great for walking, which I hoped it would be. Beautiful leather and fits well except a little loose in the heel. I got a size up so I could wear socks and walk this winter. My other pair of Fergeys shoes are great for everyday. I need a more flexible outer sole for walking. Seibel makes quality shoes for sure.
