I’ve been wearing Josef Seibel Catalonia sandals & clogs for over a decade. They began being produced in Romania, Bulgaria & Hungary. Then they moved to Mexico production & the quality diminished. I’m now returning 3 pairs that have been produced in India. The quality & fit of all 3 pairs are abysmal. From the sole to the top of the upper, there is such wide gaping vertically, the sandal tops do not touch the top of my feet. I do not have narrow or thin feet. I am returning 2 pairs of Catalonia 01 in colors: Black and Hibiscus and 1 pair of Catalonia 77 in color Sand (a bone color) This is so disappointing. Now after all these years wearing Josef Seibel Catalonia I know I must find another manufacturer for better quality and better fitting sandals & clogs?

I don't know why Joseph Seibel doesn't get a clue and put a rough suede bottom on the footbed. The smooth one makes you sweat, makes your foot slide around, leading to turned ankles. I wish so badly these worked. They are pretty and the right size, but UNWEARABLE.

I have ordered this brand for years, I feel the quality has changed the last two pair seem changed from past orders.Not sure if I will be ordering this brand again.

these shoes fit oddly ..I felt like the heel would disconnect from the base of the shoe.. I had to return them

Horrible!! They stretched out width wise. Too slippery insole - could not keep my foot from sliding around. Soles also very slippery.

These are my go-to sandals for the summer. Feel great.
