These are the kind of minimal merino socks I like to wear, everyday socks that I also use for walking, local hiking trails, and occasional running as well as twisty, jumpy cardio dance-type classes and other workouts. Lost my decade-lasting prior Smartwool socks to fires (I'm sure they put up a fight--they are merino after all), and these feel like home, and look a little snazzier too. Perfect!
