Two weeks before purchasing these, I bought a pair of size 4 original relaxed straight leg Lee jeans. I love them and they fit perfectly. These Insta-Slim jeans are also supposed to be relaxed straight leg, so I ordered the same size. I could barely pull them on, they were so tight. I don't understand the crazy sizing. Had to return, at my expense, of course. For reference: I'm 5'2" 120 pounds.

I thought they would be more relaxed than skin tight but they are so wide they are sloppy. Nothing like the photo they use to advertise No

I ordered these jeans, which i generally love, in both this color (inspire blue) as well as a darker color (heritage blue). The dark pair fit fine and were true to size. But somehow the light ones, despite being the exact same jeans, same size etc. were SO TIGHT and not stretchy or flexible at all. It made no sense. I also have another pair of these jeans, in a darker color, in a full size smaller and, even they aren't as tight as these new ones a full size larger. I say get them, but only in the dark colors or order a size up for the light colors.

Both pair of jeans smelled musty. Washed them and they still smell. I've been trying to air them out!

While they are listed as classic fit, they are not. The waistband is at the waist, but that is the only classic thing about them. They do not fit like the older ones I have that are wearing out a little. The relaxed fit slide down in the back when I bend over.

The color and quality of the denim is really nice, and I love the cut of the leg and the super high rise. The back rise wedged itself so high up between my cheeks, though! There's no way I could wear these in public, so I had to return them.

I wanted a very dark blue Jean and when I ordered the first pair they fit so I ordered another dark wash and a black pair. All three fit differently. The first one fit, the second dark wash I could barely zip up and the black one I had to actually lay down to zip. Unfortunately, on the second dark wash one I had worn and washed it a few times when I went to steam creases out of it and noticed that the pockets in the back were not at the same level. I also see that the denim isn't as nice as they use to be because these crease a lot easier. I have always liked Lee jeans but their quality has really gone downhill.

Great color, but these were WAY too small compared to the exact black jeans bought at the same time.

I am NOT Bob Kinney, who ordered the jeans for me for Christmas. I was looking for "at the waist" jeans, like I have ordered in the past. Evidently, there's no such thing anymore, b/c I could not find it. The closest I came was "high rise" which is NOT the same thing! I had three choices, two of which were "cropped" jeans/pants! The only choice was what I received. And, despite the fact that they are "high rise," they do NOT sit at the waist. I am constantly pulling the jeans up for sheer comfort! And the pockets!! There are practically NO front pockets; for all intents and purposes there's nothing there! They are only about 3" deep! Who makes a pocket that's only 3"?! The back pockets are situated half-way down my butt, so when I try to put my phone in my back pocket I end up sitting on it! No, I DEFINITELY would NOT recommend these jeans to anyone. I believe I am going to have to find another maker of jeans because this style is NOT what I was looking for in jeans!

Not high waisted at all. Very stiff, needs at least 2% spandex. Just my opinion…..

I have purchased this jean style a few times previously and loved them, however, this time they don't fit the same and the quality is not up to par. I will be returning them. Makes me sad because they have always been my favorite.

I returned the jeans because the fit was not as described. I've worn the Monroe style for many years, the jeans I ordered were described as "formerly the Monroe". They were not.

Unfortunately I had to return my purchase because the jeans were too small. They are the same size as my other Lee jeans but the style I always buy are no longer available and this replacement style isn't sized the same.

I don't know if I'll chance ordering from you again. My jeans fit fine but the have such a strong chemical smell that I'm embarrassed to wear them. I tried soaking them in vinegar and water and re washed them 3 times and they still smell Really frustrating

For a relaxed fit it was very tight. Lee used to be my brand of choice but recently the sizing varied so that I'm not sure what to buy.

This was described as being a "relaxed fit". It is not. It is very shape conforming and the waist was very tight. I had purchased this style in a 10M because my 12M in another style was too large. But this is way too tight. I am considering returning.

I was told this jean was replacing the Monroe jean. Definitely not even close. I have worn Monroe since they came out, lost almost 20 pounds recently, and these new ones I couldn't even zip! Returned and waiting for my refund.

I have been a Lee girl since just before Chic jeans stopped being made. I was happy to find a product that held up well and didn't wear as fast. I became a regular consumer. I have noticed in the past 5 years or so the quality of jeans has gone down. I am on the heavy side and quite frankly the jean now wear out terrible in the thigh area. I recently lost weight and had to pull out my older smaller sized Lee jeans and the difference in quality is quite noticeable. I would rather pay the extra price, and would, for a better quality jean than pay a medium price for a poor quality jean. I have moved to Levi's now and am enjoying the better quality. With many complaints online about the recent quality of the jeans you would think you would heed the consumer requests and go back to a better quality jean. In this day an age consumers are even more conscious of their buying dollar. They want to buy something that will last a little bit and not have to replace so often.
