I recommend going a half size up. I am typically a women's size 8 so I ordered that and I had to exchange for an 8.5. As another reviewer said "it felt like my foot was bursting out on the sides." I think it is due to the fancy insole, it takes up more space in the shoe than average. The 8.5 is perfect for me: I love the arch support and it required no break-in period.

I am a teacher, so I am on my feet all day, but I also like shoes that look semi-professional for work. These are definitely great shoes as they are super comfortable but also stylish.

My usual athletic shoe size is 8 (with socks). Based on reviews I ordered both 8 and 8.5. I thought the shoe looked silly with the really short socks I wear (I don't know what they are called); the top of the sock showed a lot. Personally I dislike the feel of shoes without socks, but I did try them without socks. Without socks the 8 fit but felt snug, and the 8.5 was a little too big. These shoes look nicer than lace-up sneakers, and if you like wearing shoes without socks I would recommend them. For size reference, my feet are a little bit narrow but mediums do work for me. If you have wider feet the larger size might be better for you.

Super stylish and so very comfortable. I wear these a LOT. And they're coming with me on my vacation for sure.

I have narrow heels and wide toes. My toes do not like to be squished. These shoes are fantastic! Supportive, fit my foot like a glove, and no slipping on the heel when I walk.

Happy with these so far although have yet to wear them outside my condo. I like the style.

These are SO comfortable right out of the box. I like them so much I ordered a second color. Only negative is the black ones were a little smaller than the navy ones

I initially bought this shoe in black in a 9 since that's what I really needed but it was too snug. Unfortunately they were out of the 9.5 in black so I got the navy. While it is much more comfortable the heel slips surprisingly on my right foot which is my larger foot. Go figure. Since I have no experience with these types of shoes I don't know how much the 9 will give. Would appreciate any feedback on this. Haven't decided whether to keep the 9.5 or wait to see if the 9 comes back in in black.

Fit was perfect & very comfortable!

Very comfortable and look great. I’m on my feet ten hours a day and these shoes give so much support, better than any others I’ve tried. The white bottoms don’t easily get dirty and wipe clean in a snap. I’ll definitely be getting more pairs,
