fits well but the bottom of the closure digs into my chest and the cups make my breasts point to my arms instead of forward

When Playtex first came out with front close, bottom hook was all the way at the bottom. Now is 1" up from the bottom, making a 38 into a 40". I have to sew a hook and eye on the bottom to make it fit, otherwise rating would be *****.

It is not easy to fasten and does not give as much support as I thought it would. I would not purchase this one again.

Front keeps unhooking from bottom as you are trying to hook it. Also need more than white. Sent back

Great bra, I have had surgery on my left shoulder, so I thought this would be easier to get on. My problem, so is a bit hard for me to manage. Hopefully I will slowly adjust.

I love these bras but for the past year they all have NOT been sized the same Some fit perfectly as I have experienced over the past 20 years and others have a cup size smaller than a "C" but not quite a "B" and others are too tight on closure (size 36) . El Salvadore is seems to be the closest on sizing. I've tried "D" cups and a larger size - 38 but then they are to big.

I'm not really sure if the sizing is "off" or my size has changed but these fit terrible. I will be returning them.!

It should have the bottom hooks lower. It opens up at the bottom and irritates the skin pretty bad. I'm actually having to hand sew hooks at the bottom to keep it from opening up and poking.

I order these bras all the time and I have gained some weight so I went up a size. For some reason they are hurting my shoulders like crazy. I only increased the band size, not the cup as that was all that was necessary but they just aren't working for me this time.

This is my first time ordering a Playtex bra - I have opted for Bali for years. The front-closure was my motivation to try Playtex. The bra's support is good, but the seam that cuts through each cup horizontally is not a pleasing look. This does not show in the picture on the OHP website... The spandex fabric provides "shaping" without being too tight. There was a rather strong rubber or chemical smell when I removed the bra from the package. I laundered it twice before trying on, but the smell is still present. Hopefully it will disappear at some point. Will not wear often if odor persists - this is reason for 3-star rating.

I was glad to see this style as I have worn it before and it is quite comfortable, but the hooks on the new one won't stay closed!

This bra is comfortable but there is not enough support. The back rides up after a while and going down a band size would make it too tight. I like wearing it on quick errands.

The fabric is stiff and scratchy. Well made but not really comfortable for me.

Think about all the reasons to choose FRONT- closing bras.

I share the review of several other shoppers, I am disappointed that the fastenings at the front are lumpy and show through a t-shirt, five hooks seems a bit excessive, especially as the top and bottom there is a gap and the material sticks out. I am going to keep them as I like the wide straps and the support at the back, but make sure you look at yourself in the mirror to make sure flesh is not pouring over the sides, ugh!

Mostly comfortable. I do not like the placement of the round metal strap holder. Should be much lower on the back. These just dig right into my shoulders.

First time with this brand. Sides do not seem to offer the stretch I am used to - a little stiff. Will keep as a back up bra. Fit is good.

Need to return . Front opening is too hard to manage.please advice process.

Just ok - material is Thin and cuts a bit at the elastic. Not like prior playtex that were made better and of better material.

It wasn't as comfortable as I expected, probably because it is for taller people than I am. It felt good when I tried it on, but came too far down on my mid-section to be comfortable for all day.

the materials were fine, liked the front closure but: the bottom of the closure rubbed by belly. liked the shoulder straps, nice and wide, did not dig in. won't purchase a bra via the web again.

The bras fit well and give good front and back support.

I usually wear a 42B but wanted more room so ordered 44B. Sadly, to is too snug.
