I bought these about a month ago. They are very comfortable, but should not have a cuff. The loose hem inside the cuff rolls up after washing. Looks bad. I have a pair from years past with no cuff. Much better.

The cuffs are tacky. I altered to remove the cuffs and I wear them almost every day.

These are just like the excellent French terry pocket caprisexcept unlike the capris, which have a proper, turned-under hem, these shorts have an unfinished, upturned hem, which makes them look dorky and sloppy. And it will not be at all easy to unstitch them at the side seams to turn the hem under, without damaging the shorts. Why did anyone think this was a good idea? Really a shame, as otherwise these have the same comfy wide waistband, good drawstring, comfortable fit and lovely navy color as the capris.

Fit well. I bought x-Large I am a size 16 my legs are thin. After washing they fit well. Not snug but comfortable for warm weather. Not baggy or droopy drawers LOL

I got these shorts in navy and gray. They are well made, very comfy and easy wash and dry. Rated 4 stars because the legs are kind of wide for me, but major issue is the cuff. It is tacked up, but sags between the tacks. I took the tacks out and re-hemmed with a regular hem. Who wants cuffs anyway... probably some kind of cost saving thing.

I have been looking for years for a cotton Bermuda short that lands just above the knee. This short could only be better if the hem were NOT cuffed (a shaped, curved and taped hem would be better) and if a dark grey color were offered. Also, some internal stretch to the drawstring would make pulling the shorts on and off much easier. Please keep making more options in 100% cotton with inseams of 11 inches. I will keep buying them.

If I had to do it again, I would buy the next size up. I like a loose fit, and this one was a little snog. Comfy shorts should be on the bigger side. It is a good length right above the knee.

Comfortable and easy to care for

I love the style and the length (and cuffs) of these shorts. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because i think the fabric is heavy for summer and for me personally, they aren't very slimming. But I'm an XL, go figure. The size is accurate.

These are comfortable, but hang loosely like men's basketball shorts. I am short-legged, so they come below my knees. If I roll them up, they rub together when I walk. They will make great around-the-house shorts, but I probably won't wear them out.

The shorts run small and are snug. I prefer a looser fit and should have ordered a medium

I bought these shorts specifically because the description states: ""BERMUDA STYLE, OR NOT - Wear them down or roll them up. Fleece shorts feature an 11-inch inseam."" To me, that indicates that the "cuff" would only be tacked up at intervals, thus would be easy to remove the tacking threads and wear the shorts that way, making them an inch or so longer. HOWEVER, the cuff is only tacked up on 3 sides; the inseam side of the cuff is completely sewn into the seam, making it impossible to roll the cuff "down" as I had hoped. The overall quality is okay but the description needs to be updated to reflect that the cuff cannot be let down.

True to size, they will shrink when placed in dryer.

I NEED COLORS!!!!!!! Quality is not like it used to be. Hate the cuff.

I ordered 3 pair of these as I'd purchased them before (in store) my size has increased from large to extra large. My previous pairs had a close fitting leg, that fit very much like the photo. These new pairs in a size larger had a Much wider leg, overly wide, not the same look at al. Also one of the three pair had a twisted cuff (sewing tack that holds the cuff in place was twisted) and it would take too much effort on my part to return, therefore disappointed in my Online order.

Comfortable enough that I'm debating another pair or two -- but hesitating because it will take a major sewing project to make the cuffs presentable in public, given the uneven curling between tack points. Why have a cuff rather than a hem on material that can't hold a crease? It's not as though they are targeted at the starch and iron set. Also, although ideally pockets would be deep enough for a cell phone, these are so shallow that losing items when you sit down is a real threat. Outstanding sleep shorts though!

The fit was fine. I didn't like the unfinished hem or the way it was turned up like a cuff.

Much thinner fabric than I'd hoped for. I thought the cuff could be rolled down, but since it's sewed into the seam, that makes it impossible. Overall, I think the quality of your clothing has gone down over the years. :-(

The fabric was heavier than I was hoping for so shorts are hot to wear in the summer

Very nice fabric that washed well, and a nice fit, but the waste band is too wide and the pockets are too small.

I wear these shorts for working out. They fit well, and I like having pockets in my shorts. I did not notice the cuff at the hem before I ordered them. It really doesn't add anything to the style, and I probably will remove it at some time. The fabric initially was a bit stiffer than I would have expected, but they already seem to be softening up. They are a great value.

The quality looks reasonable but the sizing? I wear an 8 and a medium almost anywhere, but these medium shorts were quite too large for me. Not sure if I should try small.

They are great for around the house and very, very causal wear.

Runs huge! I wanted these shorts badly, but they run huge!! Now, I have to return them and pay shipping! I also ordered two tees, and they run very small! These awful inconsistencies make me never want to buy Hanes products again!
