true to size. My daughter is SUPER picky about underwear. These have cotton trim on the leg opening, which she says are way more comfortable than the spandex on the waistband. These briefs have a taller rise, but not as high as other "briefs". Bikini cut are too "low" for her liking. These sit about an inch below her belly button.
