It t hurt my ankles because the front of the shoe came up so high around the ankle

Just got these today, and am pleased! I love the Cognac color, and am impressed by how lightweight they are! To say these have moderate arch support is a bit of a stretch, but so far, they are very comfortable with the removable foam inserts. I'm so glad I'll be able to remove the foam and add ortho inserts if needed. I wish that was an option on more shoes. These will look great with jeans or slacks. My first purchase from this brand, and it probably won't be my last.

The shoe is very comfortable. However, the strap is superfluous--it does nothing except make the shoe look "clunky", more like a men's slip-on. If it criss-crossed the shoe vamp, it would add greatly to the style.

The shoe was ok, the velcro strap made the shoe look a bit boxy on as it was stiff. The biggest thing I noticed was that me feet started to perspire, the material does not appear to breathe.

glad to find a pair of shoes that are comfortable but don't weigh a ton.

6.5 W, my usual size, fit perfectly and was without the gaping at the ankle that happens when I order from Clarks (which used to be my go-to brand, but something has changed about their sizing/quality). These shoes don't look like old lady shoes, and the strap across the top can be used for very minor sizing adjustments if needed (not anything more than minor). I'm delighted with the shoes.

They are perfect for me, since had a stroke and need Velcro. They are super cushy.

I wear a 10W in New Balance and the 9WW fit me with these shoes. Aesthetically, they look huge so I wouldn't wear them with a slim-legged pants. The style is great for wide legs though.

I have a difficult time finding shoes that fit, will stay on my feet, and are comfortable. My heels and the the back part of my foot are narrow. After trying a number of styles, this is the only one that fit the bill. They are comfortable and easy to put on. I am able to walk in these shoes without my heels bouncing up and down but there is still adequate room for my toes. The one thing I would change: It would be nice if the velcro strap would actually tighten the shoe.

Shoes fit just fine. I wear custom orthopedics and they fit perfectly. I will probably order in another color.

This shoe was labeled a 6 1/2 BUT the length was almost 2 inches past my toes! My heel slipped out too when walking. Will be returing them.

With few reviews, I ordered my usual size, 9.5 medium. They are way too wide and the adjustable strap is useless as it does not tighten the shoe. Even inserting my own orthotics did not help. They are nicely made and the cognac color is beautiful. Will be returning.

At first the strap did feel like it was cutting at my ankles (I have thicker ankles) but after a few wears, the leather must have stretched. It is very comfy. They are slip resistant and although it doesn’t state it in the description, I think they are waterproof. I had to walk through a 2” puddle and my socks were dry! I really couldn’t be more impressed. I wear them to work everyday and they slip on. Looks just like the photo.

Fit and size was ok, but I didn't care for the heel cup-it was too low on my heel. Beautiful looking shoe.

The length and width at the toe were fine, but the heel was too wide, even with thick socks. Shoes slipped when I walked in them. Returning them

They fit well enough but the top of the shoes just felt uncomfortable.

fit and style are nice, but as others have said, why the velcro strap? Stylistically, it doesn't work; it doesn't do anything for the fit unless you feel it's lose across the instep. They also don't have as much cush as I'd like. Anyway, too bad, they're going back.

The toe box is rather narrow and especially uncomfortable on the big toe. The velcro band seems to be purely ornamental, as mentioned in other reviews.

I love it so much I ordered a pair in black but half a size smaller which is my usual size and the. Lack for great. Returning this one for an 8-1/2!!

Too big! I am a solid size 9EE but these shoes were sloppy big. I was disappointed because they’re super cute and had they fit, I think they would’ve been among my favorite shoes. They seemed very well-made and really comfortable.
