The fit is very comfortable, and unlike most jeans that are stretchy, they don't seem to get more stretched out throughout the day. They hold their fit pretty well.

I love the styling of the High Rise True Straight Leg in Berry Dark (though I would prefer even darker); a little distressing in all the right places. However, they stretch out A LOT. For reference, I initially ordered a size 6/32 perfect length for me for riding as I'm 5' 2" on a good day so the length stacks well. When I tried them on I was concerned they might be a bit too tight in the waist. So I exchanged them for a size 8. Tried the 8s on when they arrived and thought they would be just fine, as they were fitted through the thigh and more comfortable in the waist. I cut the tags off and washed and dried them before wearing. I wore/rode in them 1 time and I kid you not, at the end of the day they looked like I was wearing someone else's way-too-big-for-me-borrowed-pants. If asked to guess, I'd say they stretched out about a size and half; waist, rear and legs. Sooo, now I'm thinking I need to try the size 6 again and a size 4? But returns/exchanges are only granted for unworn items, so I could possibly just be wasting my money. I feel the description of these jeans should say "will stretch, so consider sizing down 1 size".

I originally ordered the size I get in every pair of jeans, a size 8. When I received them I couldn't even button them. I then exchanged for a size 10 which fit just as tight (I could button them but I couldn't sit down. I have now exchanged the 10 for a 14 to give myself a little extra room since there didn't seem to be a difference in the 8 and 10. I have high hopes for these jeans and I hope this third round will be the last for exchanges. For reference I am 5'9" 175lbs

I'm looking for a pair of jeans that don't have fabric puffing out from the hips & thighs. I'm 5'9" & slim. So far I've had to return Levi's twice now because the so-called slim jeans were baggy at the hips & thighs! Are your 'slim' jeans the same way?

It fits me super loose even tho it's supposed to be my size according to the size chart. I was also expecting the material to be more ticker.

I loved this darker color - but the same jeans in another color fit perfect in a 12. The 12 in this darker color was extremely tight. So I re-ordered in 14. too big!! A little disappointed in fabric also - frayed around pockets and hems at bottom. I feel certain this is the "style" but I was not pleased with this. Yes, I did keep them.

Very cute jeans. I'm a size 6. Ordered a size 4. They fit and still get baggy though out the day.

I bought two different styles of jeans, same size. This pair was so tight in the waist I won't be able to wear them until I lose weight.

I was so excited that Wrangler high rise straight leg jeans were back! And the rise in the new ones is almost as high as in the old fashioned ones. But, they now have elastic in them and I don't like that. I want good old fashioned denim--no elastic. There are two reasons: 1) if you bend over, the old denim jeans would stay put. The jeans with elastic move down your butt as you bend over. 2) Plus the elastic changes the feel and warmth of the jeans; the elastic makes them cooler in winter when you want them to be warm and hotter in summer when you want them to be cool. Bring back high rise straight leg jeans in pure denim with no elastic and I will be thrilled! So my review is mixed--I'm happy the high rise straight leg is back and the straight leg look is good. I just don't like the elastic in the material.

I was looking for a new brand of jeans and came across wrangler! I wanted to love them so much but it gave me a big gap in the back. The fabric felt really nice and it was flattering everywhere else but I had to return.

These did not have the same amount of strech as the previous pair. These wear quite a bit stiffer.

Fabric and quality of construction is great. The fit, not so much. The legs are far too large and baggy . They may be straight legs, but it's more like boot cut that stays the same width from the bottom up, leaving a very loose and baggy leg.

The fabric quality was good - thick material with some stretch. I used the size guide to measure myself and ordered accordingly the pants were at least two sizes too big. And you have to pay for return shipping (on top of paying for initial shipping). I don't have a Wrangler store around me, so I had to return them and now I'm out almost $20 in shipping costs alone. If I ordered another pair to try, I would be paying almost as much in shipping as the jeans originally cost! Gonna pass and cut my losses. Bummer.

Like the jeans but one pair is stretchy and one pair is not??? The stretch pair is larger, wider leg and so much more material around the fly. Wish all colors were no stretch!!!

Was advised to get a 14 ..normally wear a 10 to 12. An inch and a half too big in the waist and so baggy I need suspenders to hold them up. I look like a clown. As I thought they were perfect and was excited to get them, I took tags off and tried on. Looked like Bozo. Called CS and was told they could not be returned as I had taken the tags off. So now I'm stuck with jeans that I paid 65.00 for and can't wear. Just really disappointed.

The quality is good but they are not true to size. My average size is 12-14 and I bought the 12 thinking they would fit nicely based on previous reviews. When I tried them on, I could barely get them over my bottom, could not even get them close to buttoning. Very disappointing!

I ordered these jeans with high hopes, and when I received them they were so tight, I then exchanged them for a bigger size of which was still too small, so I have now exchanged again for a bigger size. This second exchange is for a size that's 3 sizes bigger than what i usually wear. BUT I was charged for every exchange. I figured it would be a pending charge until they received my return but now it's a finalized charge with no credit back. So keep an eye on your accounts!

I purchased a 29 waist.and it felt more like a 26 and couldn't button it up at all. The bottom of the jeans were too wide, not ad shown in picture, more like bell bottoms. The material feels weird, not like original wranglers I've used before.waist part has zero stretch while the leg parts have ton of stretch. They're not high rise or midrise to me but this is just my oppinion.

I am returning the jeans because of their terrible smell that even filled the room. I am not washing them because I cannot return after washing and I can't be sure the smell will be gone. Also, the process for returning left out showing the tax that is supposed to be returned. I called and was assured the tax will be returned even though it is not shown. If it is not returned I was told to call them. The polite agent was unable to read me the full amount of the return and had to add it up. What's with their site that it can't show the tax as part of my return?

The denim fabric is very stiff and didn't soften up much after several washings.

I had no reason to believe these were not denim. They are listed with other denim pants in other colors. I was disappointed. As well they are more of a boot leg not a straight leg, so will likely take them to a tailor since I took the tags off already. I'm sure they will be fine eventually.
