I wore it to a concert in Vegas and was very happy with how it improved my appearance LOl.

I've been a lifelong user of Carhartt and 5.11 work pants, but as a huge fan of Wrangler jeans, I recently decided to give the Riggs a shot. I'm never going back. The difference in quality is immediately apparent, the reinforced stitching along all the pockets is huge, and the leather tape measure reinforcement in particular is a game changer. As an archaeologist, I often have to cover a lot of ground over the course of a work day and therefore can't really swing wearing a work belt system like I did when I worked construction, but I also have to keep my tape measure out of my pack and regularly accessible (I reckon this is probably also applicable to people who work in forestry and other such survey-based occupations). Previously, I had simply resigned myself to having to stoop down to pick up my tape measure after it fell from its place on my pocket a couple dozen times a day, but no more! That reinforcement keeps it locked in place even at a brisk jog, and as an additional plus, it keeps it from trying to pull my pocket off my pants. Only thing I'd note is that they run a tad tight, so if you're between sizes I'd go with the bigger one.

I use my Riggs for dress and work. We live on the Western Slope of Colorado; being outdoors and working hard is common to everyday life. My new Riggs are for going to town; my older Riggs (still in GREAT shape) are for work.

I wear them to mow yards in and do yard work. Very comfortable and cool.

Very happy with fit and durability. Wasn't expecting them, but received compliments ref their look as well. Work maintenance inside; might be a little warm during summer months. Gonna buy the cotton pants version for then.
