I especially like the availability of the off standard store sizes.

I purchased the premium jeans along with the shorts and can say the size is consistent between the two items, which is really good to see. Ranger shorts feel comfortable and am quite pleased with the cut, fit and quality of stitching and materials. I selected the Bark color and wasn't sure how that would appear when received, compared to how it looked online, concerned it might be too light a shade of tan. When received, I was pleased that the color was a nice shade, not too dark and not too light (not the average light tan). These feel very durable.

These shorts are perfect for what I do, and thankfully I'm able to wear them to work. I am a floor installer and I've gone thru a bunch of shorts because they couldn't stand up to the rigorous work we do. I won't wear any other short now! I highly recommend anyone in the construction trade to give them a try, You Will NOT Be Disappointed

Quality materials and stitching. Large deep front pockets which I prefer. I could do without the hammer loop - always getting it snagged on the kitchen drawer knobs!

These are a very high-quality pair of shorts -in fact, I immediately ordered a second pair. However, you do have to know how to wear them and Wrangler does a poor job of explaining it. Wrangler calls these "Relaxed Fit." They're not. They're a super straight fit, designed to sit on the hips. Those who say the waist is tight in these shorts are actually wearing them too high; these are very true-to-size and you should order your normal waist size. The key is (Wrangler does give you a clue): wear a thick jean belt like the model in the photos. With that, they sit right on the hip with plenty of room in the waist and come down just below the knee as intended. I know it seems counter-intuitive to make a tight-feeling waist instantly comfortable by wearing a belt, but that's the fit of these shorts -which, by the way, is ideal for athletic body types.

They are well made and heavy duty. I had been ordering Nautica shorts which cost way more and aren't as well made. They always have holes within 2 months.

This is the first set of wrangler work shorts I've bought. ( I've lost some weight & needed to buy a smaller size than I would normally buy. Thought I would give these a try. Fit well, seem to be well constructed. Overall very happy with order & wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

I found a pair of these at Salvation Army or Goodwill a while ago and they were the BEST. I have been looking for who had them available since then (about 1-2 years) and finally discovered that they were wronglers. OH JOY!!! They fit perfectly, they are made of HEAVY denim material and are extremely durable. They have a MILLION pockets and hold more than I want to carry in them. In short THE BEST!!!

Great fit and great quality. The inseam in 11 & 3/4 inches. Perfect for my 6' 3" height.

So I know my size from prior years of purchasing from The Works Store in Stockton. I hate long pants and will only wear them when absolutely necessary; so for me these have been the longest lasting, most functional (pocket for folding knife, reinforced tape measure sleeve and two deep pockets with snaps for anything from cellphone to screws). I also like that these pants have a metal rivet type button ....NOT A SNAP..at the top of a zipper that has never failed. I am having personal issues with the idea of buying something online that I can buy for exactly the same price from a store less than one mile from my home. I do live in Stockton, California and that's about the only justification I can muster...potentially get robbed or my vehicle broken into while shopping or have these delivered to my doorstep then fight off the porch pirates.....or move from California but that's for another review.

these shorts are very nice ,although a bit long,they are comfortable as well as tough and that is what i look for in all my clothes

I'm still wearing these from 10 yrs ago, I do hard physical work! They have out performed all others. Still have some of the first I purchased 10 yrs ago ....

I wear these really hard. This purchase was exactly the color, size and quality I was looking for.

I bought two pair of these shorts and am very happy with them. I use these shorts primarily for work but also for casual wear. I love the sturdy fabric and the longer length. Other lighter weight shorts seem to fail too quickly, So far, these are holding up really well and they look great. Consider sizing up when you try them; I found that the next size up fit almost perfectly. My only complaint relates to quality control - the legs are not always the same length. I have had to return and re-order a couple of times. However, Wrangler's return process is easy and their response time is very good. I will definitely buy again.
