Olive green is beautiful for a shoe. The comfort level is unbelievable on first wearing. Shoe strings could be a tad longer. I have bad feet I was a little wary about them not being a max cushion boot.

I've had these boots for about a year and have hiked in them in the Tetons on day hikes and overnights, on autumn desert trips, and on snowpacked trails in the winter. The locking lace system requires me to keep the cuff laced pretty loosely, but the foot fits so well/comfortably that it's fine. I was looking for a boot with a roomy toe box but also with a stiffer sole and good cushion underfoot this boot is a great option. After a year, they're starting to show some deterioration, FYI. Highly recommend.

I almost always wear Topo shoes. There is no other shoe out there that is as comfortable and secure for hiking or walking or doing whatever. Topo shoes are the best!

Awesome warm and waterproof hiking boots that feel like a cloud on my foot! Feel like I've won some sweepstakes with these ones after a long search!

These are so comfortable. It's like walking on a cloud. I do hav to figure out how to tie them so my heel doesn't slip and the laces don't loose. As I walk. I love the boxy toe box which gives plenty of room for my toes. #sweepstakes

These boots are outstanding. Finally, a boot for people with a wide toe box but normal width mid foot and heel. These are great. Your mid foot and heel are held securely in place while your toes have room to spread out. Love them. The waterproofing works. A note on sizing: I own a pair of these in the blue-green color way. The 7.5 fit perfectly. For some reason, the 7.5 in the gray felt 1/2 size too short in length. The gray looks slightly shorter. I suggest sizing up 1/2 size.

I used these boots over a three-month field season (I'm a wildlife biologist) in equatorial Africa. They got used 4-5 days/week for about 8-12 miles/day on paths through rainforests, woodlands and long grass; and during bush-wacking when I could not see my feet. The soles were top-rate and had great traction. I could go through shallow streams and step in mud and never had a leak--the best waterproofing I've ever experienced. I often have trouble with blisters and eventually corns in new boots. No corns, and blisters only on the back of the left heel--presumably because, like almost everyone, my feet are slightly different sizes. Two issues: 1) A minor one was that the metal loop on the top of the shoe was too small for me to hook my gaiters. It would be great if it were a little bigger; 2) A more serious problem was the insole, which is really flimsy with no real cushioning. Normally, I can wear hiking boots daily for a month before inserting new insoles. But the cushioning and support with these boots were poor at the outset. I wish I had noticed it in the store but I bought them in a hurry. The insoles were so flimsy that when I took them out to dry them overnight I could barely get them back in as they weren't stiff enough. Luckily I was able to get some new insoles and after that the boots were perfect. I am giving them a five star rating because despite the insoles they ARE the best hiking boots I've ever owned.

On my last hike I was wearing a pair of Keens that were so uncomfortable that right after the hike I went into the shop at the trailhead and bought these Topos. I wore them today for about a 2-hour hike. I was really surprised at how comfortable they are. Plenty of room in the forefront, but feels stable in the ankle area. I wear a 7 in street shoes, a 7.5 in sneakers/running shoes, and needed an 8 in these. I haven't taken them on a long hike yet, but hoping they remain comfortable. At a minimum they are better than the others I had previously. And while I normally wear neutral colors, the blue is fun.

I plan to use these boots hiking. So far they feel great. I love Topo's shoes. The toe box allows your toes to spread naturally, never had a blister from them.

Always wore Keens. Needed new boots for a 6 week trip to Colorado. We hike every day. I went with the Merrill Moab wide and my feet were killing me. I have wide forefoot and narrow heel. I was having to tape my feet up every day. I bought 3 different insoles. Nothing worked. Super hard sole with zero cushion. Enter the Topo hiker. Right out of the box they were heaven. FINALLY I was not worrying and thinking about my feet. Im a believer.

I bought these to wear for the Alta Via 1 Trek in Italy. I couldn't be happier with the comfort and durability. 9 days, 75+ miles with no blisters or hot spots! I used them with the Injinji hiking socks with liners.

Put in two back to back 8 mile hikes (8k total elevation) in with these and they feel like a dream! Roomy toe box, feet stayed cool and dry! Especially important as I crossed several snow banks with them, feet stayed dry and no slipping due to the tread. I also have owned 5 different pairs of shoes by Topo from work walking, to running half marathons, they have me covered! Excited to add hiking to that list. #sweepstakes

Great waterproof hiking boots. I wore them for 7 miles the first time I put them on and walked right through puddles without my feet getting wet at all. I have plantar fasciitis and found these to be very supportive and comfortable. Highly recommend. #sweepstakes

I tried a lot of shoes before choosing these for my walk on the Camino. 77 miles and they performed just as I needed them to. I did insert a different insole and added heel cushioning but I chose the Trailadventure 2 because of the wider toe box and a shoe that locked my heel in place.

Horticulturalist who walks and climbs in and out of a truck daily . Traversing different terrains daily. The roomy toe box allows give and the ankle support is super. Waterproof shoes are imperative for comfort. It took only a day of around the home and yard to get settled in and feel completely comfortable adopting them for working my working life. I will be making another purchase in the near future. I highly recommend anyone desiring a wide toe box giving them a try. Lots of colours in Topo shoes to chose from. Go for it!

It finally dawned on me that my old 12-mm drop hiking boots were killing my back. These Topo boots are less than half of that, and it's a whole new world. Not as much ankle support but the trade-off is worth it.

I have a delayed healing fracture in my foot and have not found a comfortable shoe until now. The roomy toe box accommodates both my bunions and the slowly healing fracture. The low heel drop feels wonderful to my arches. And finally, these trailventues are sturdy and completely waterproof! Yay! #sweepstakes

I've been looking for a comfortable and supportive hiking boot for my 70 year old feet and finally found Topo. I compared Topo with a competitor's boot I had been wearing by walking around the house with the competitor or one foot and Topo on the other. The difference in comfort, feel, support, and the wide toe box were very apparent. I haven't taken my first official hike in the Topo's but am expecting all will be well. I also bought two other pair of Topo - a walking shoe and a low cut hiking shoe. I love Topos! #sweepstakes

These are going in with my emergency supplies. They are my first hiking boots, so I’m not sure if the fit is as expected. Having said that, they feel fine, supporting the side & ankle back. Thanks for plenty of room in the toebox, Topo!

My Toes have plenty of room! I couldn't have asked for a better fit!!! Finally, I have a great hiking boot that allows my feet to feel good all the way through a 5 mile hike. Because I have a Morton's neuroma it gets stressed on the downhills. But, no problem with these boots.

This is my 2nd pair of Trailventure boots. Trailventure 2 is a major upgrade from the originals which I loved too. The boot is much more "boot like." Still very lightweight and comfortable. But has more support underfoot and around the ankle.
