These shoes were winners from the moment I put them on - very rare for me. My toes (wide feet) have wiggle room due to the roomy toe box. The Vibram soles make these shoes suitable for my summer trail walking. Just decided to play it safe and bought a second pair, in case my size doesn’t come back in stock, that’s how impressed I am with this shoe.

I have narrow low volume feet with long toes and bunions. After trying several shoe models and brands, this shoe felt great out of the box. I wore them on a trip where we walked 5-8 miles per day and felt no foot pain or fatigue. The insides have no weird seams and the shoes are big enough inside for me to add custom insoles, but I did not need to do that for once, as the smooth ortholite footbed was actually quite comfortable. I rarely write reviews, and your painful feet may vary, but hopefully this review will help someone.

Finally! I tried Hoka and Merrill before finding Topo, and I'll never go back!! I have a moderately wide foot, and these have great toe room, while fitting snuggly around the ankle. They have great arch support, and are light-weight but not bouncy. I trail walk approximately 15 miles/week with my pup, and the Vibram sole is fantastic.

Surprised by the comfort of these shoes and fit. Due to a neuroma in my right foot I require a wide front, which is hard to find. These shoes almost look a bit clownish as the front is so wide but, if you have any wide feet issues, especially around the ball or your foot (by the toes) these are for you. Not once when wearing them do I feel anything pressing uncomfortably on my neuroma, which is rare. They provide full support for hiking, running, whatever you need. They feel a bit low to the ground but I have gotten used to that. I wore Saucony's then Brooks for years. Was unsure about switching to this brand but glad I did.

After buying and immediately returning six pairs of athletic shoes in the same number of weeks, I finally - FINALLY - found one thats comfortable right out of the box. Have not taken them off since they arrived, never want to take them off! I'm about to order them in another color. No real details except to cite the faults of the others: heel slipping out, no support or so much support it's like being encased in concrete, shoe hitting in uncomfortable places, bad "ground feel," etc. This one has none of these . It feels like you're not even wearing a shoe, yet it is supportive. Have to finish up this review (my first ever here!) so I can quickly order the other color before someone else snaps it up in my size.

Topo athletic shoes were recommended to me by my podiatrist. I have multiple foot problems, including plantar fasciatis and bunions. Unfortunately, although the shoe was great, I need a wide width, which Zappos doesn't offer. The shoe does run wide in the toe box. Just not wide enough for me. But This seemed like a very comfortable shoe. I wore it around the house for several hours. Great arch support also.

I tried on 3 different models of Topo shoes. I wanted to keep these as the drop felt the best, but I have Hallux Rigidus in one of my big toes and these were more narrow than the other Topo models I tried. The other models had a much wider toe box. That is best for me but may not be for everyone. These had my favorite design/style of the 3 models I tried, but in the end, they are athletic shoes and I cared more about the feel than the look. I am keeping a different pair.
