I love the aggressive tread on these shoes and the narrower heel, but I could use a little more width across the toes. Square off the toe a little more and these would be outstanding!

I just got these and love a lot about them. I've searched my whole life for something that didn't pinch my pinky toes. The toe box shape is GREAT on these... but unfortunately the rest of the shoe is just a bit loose, so my foot ends up sliding around and pinching me anyway, abrading, etc. With my thickest socks and not wearing for long distances I'm hoping they'll work for me, but they are so nice in every other way that I'm sad.

Heel is not as narrow as my other topos.so I had some irritation on heel but now seems fine.

Wide toebox, plush upper. Fairly minimal ride / cushion. Great outsole traction. Still breathes, but a little warmer than your road shoe. I am coming from relatively minimal footwear (Xero Mesa Trail), so these still feel fairly substantial to me. I wish they were a tad lower to the ground and lighter for my tastes (generally, but otherwise are suiting my body / feel so far. Excited to try them on more trail or hiking around Wisconsin. Would be cool to see a stripped down version or a Gore-Tex version for the real rough stuff. Thank you, Topo!

I was so ready to love these shoes but for one small issue; they fit everywhere except in the stitching above the toes below the laces, and the instep. It was just WAY too tight and even after wearing around the house for a bit, my toes were going numb due to lack of circulation. The length and toe box were spot on but that part really cut into my foot. Had to return but had no issues returning. This is the reason I gave it a 4-star since, I'm sure, that it would be a great shoe for someone other than those who have a high arch. I did opt to keep the Rekovr 2 which is a great shoe.

I would recommend the shoes as they are very well constructed and fit nicely but unfortunately the "wide" toe box is not really all that wide.

The foot box could be a bit bigger. The outsole is a disappointment. If they upgrade it to Vibram megagrip I will buy this shoe. Otherwise, they are not reliable. Last weekend I walked across a snow patch and was sliding on the snow.

Great shoe, but it needs a better grip. The lockdown, the space in the toe box, zero drop are all excellent but the Vibram XS Trek EVO doesn't work on wet roots and rocks. I find it borderline dangerous. It would be perfect with Megagrip...

Really want to love these. Coming from Altra Superiors that I was pretty happy with, but they lacked in the technicaly grip department and found the foam sole broke down to quickly. The grip on the Runventure is waaaaaay better, among the best I've used. Toe box fits great, that awesome zero drop feel, but the midfoot on the sole is surprisingly narrow. That causes the upper to wrap down and under the foot a bit right in the arch where those black lateral stiffness bars unfortunately rub like crazy and blister my feet. So unfortunately that leaves me with a near perfect shoe that I can't wear!

I really wanted to like these shoes. Zero drop, flexible, moderate cushion. Unfortunately I have had serious issues lacing them and getting a secure fit. When I start from the bottom laces and work my way up, the bottom part of the laces will have loosened up by the time I get to the top part of the laces. This may be due to the poofy material in the tongue. My feet were always sliding around on uneven terrain. I ended up buying the terraventure 4s which lace up securely and hold my feet well.

This was my third pair of topos and the first two I loved but unfortunately this pair I had issues with both feet having the sole detach within first month of owning the shoes. I alternate daily between this shoe and a boot depending upon weather where I work. Comfort is amazing and the sizing is great. Maybe I got a bad batch but durability was an issue.

Why do these only come in one terrible color when a slightly more normal color is displayed in the photos? Ridiculous.

My mom got me these as a gift. They're a half size too small. Due to when she purchased them and when the snow finally melted this year I didn't put them on to discover they were too small until after the 30 day warranty period (which I didn't know existed having never bought Topos before). I've never worn these outside, they're in perfect condition, but Topo refuses to exchange them for me. Other brands I've worn have accommodated extenuating circumstances like this, so it's a real shame that Topo won't. Would have loved to have worn these on my trail half marathon I have coming up in the fall but I don't think I'll be wearing them at all since they refuse to exchange these shoes which are in perfect condition for the half size bigger that I need. A real shame that they'll just be collecting dust in my closet now, and a real waste of money.
