My old Columbia mittens like these were my best ones. The only problem with these is the fold down thumbs. They have a tendency to open up a bit, this lets cold into the thumb.

I typically wear a large and sometimes an x-large. However, the large was too small for my hand. The x-large fits just fine. Overall, they seem durable and made for working in cold weather. I've been wearing them for the past couple weeks in freezing temps and they do a good job of keeping my hands warm with the flexibility of using my digits when I need them.
