Overall its a good quality item and I'm happy with the purchase and style. I persoanally like my dickies items to fit loose but I can see why you dont want a vest to be over sized. I never buy a medium but feel like I probably should have with this particular vest. I'm 5'10, 185 pounds. Over a regular shirt the large sticks out to much under my arms and shoulders. Over a loose heavy hoody it fits as it should. I guess it depends on how you plan on layering it. An inside pocket would be a nice addition.

The vest was awesome but the XL was way too big. Definitely runs large. I exchanged for a smaller size.

Fits well, hope it keeps me warm. Not exactly cold enough in my neck of the woods yet.

It's warm, getting a size smaller, for me, worked out just fine, no binding under the arm pits. Didn't give 5 stars because it didn't have a breast pocket. Service was quick, easy and pretty fast.

It's a great vest for work and doesn't cling on to dog hair if you have dogs like I do I like that and it looks great with a western shirt or a flannel or even a hoodie i'm 185 pounds I wear a medium 6 foot tall

Everything is fine except it would be nice if there was a top vest pocket.

Seems like a nice vest but sizes are HUGE I wear a men's medium t shirt and this medium vest literally fit like a XL, was not confident a small would work so I'm still looking...

I like this vest. It fits well over a hoodie and adds a layer of warmth without restricting movement like a full coat does. The price is on point for the quality of the product. My only complaint is that it is quite wide around the midsection which makes it more suitable for beer bellies I guess.

I was looking for a vest , i've never purchased a Dickies product, but I was pleasantly surprised. I like the weight, it fits right (a little short), and the color is as advertised . I would buy it again .

I took delivery of this vest recently and have found it to very comfortable and warm! I'm retired, but bought the vest because of Dickies' reputation for manufacturing comfortable and durable clothing.

Vest is very comfortable and warm, it is light weight but made great. This product is great quality and would recommend to others anytime. Ordered online and was delivered as expected, very pleased and will purchase other items in the future.

I bought a vest for my dad and father in law they were great and looked exactly how they did online.

I have started wearing the vest now that cold weather is here. Fits perfectly and is warm as toast. A slippery inner surface would make it easier to put it on over most materials.

This is a very nice vest. I am very pleased with how the lining and the stitching are done. That being said since it is a man's vest it did not fit me particularly well around the shoulders and armpits. In order for it to fit like I would like I would have to do some alterations. I'm not sure I want to ruin the Integrity of the vest with alterations so I'm considering giving it to my dad. I would not hesitate to recommend this this to anyone it's a very well-made nice vest!

This is my second time buying this vest. I wear it 7 days a week year round. Light weight enough to wear in almost any weather yet warm in the winter. I do wish it had a breast pocket or an inside pocket and some type of closure (snap or velcro, ie) on the two large front pockets otherwise absolutely love this vest.

Fits well, if a little boxy. Probably a tad warmer than a fleece vest, plus cuts wind.

A must have in your wardrobe. Decent quality and the price was right.

Only reason I don't give 5 stars is it seems slightly larger than the size I intended and there are no inside pockets. Other than that love it!

Like everything about it, except the sizing. Ordered a large, and it's too tight. I always wear L. An XL was needed.

I bought this vest for cool morning working out doors. It has 2 outside pockets but would be even better with a breast pocket for cell phone and/or pen.

This is great for something light when a jacket is too bulky
