I didn't buy off website, but the local farm store. I'm disappointed in the quality. Forever, Dickies has been known as the workwear powerhouse. I've owned these pants for 3 months. I don't do a horrendously physical job, but enough that I needed quality work wear. The croch has already worn through on these, and squatting down just today blew a bigger hole. A number of those self conscious questions went through my mind, did I buy the right size, am I wearing them too much, did I put on weight. But nothing is different from other pants I own and these blew out quick. The comfort and utility is great. I'm just sad that they didn't last as long as their reputation seems to say.

After the zipper came apart in one pair of #1939 duck carpenter pants, I ordered another pair. The zipper of the new pants works, but not real smoothly--I hope it doesn't fail in a few months.

Loved the heavy thick material. I wear slim fit jeans and these pants were crazy baggy. If you don't mind the appearance of your work clothes this won't be a problem, but straight legs have no taper towards the bottom, and a relaxed fit makes them even roomier. I wish they offered this same material in something slimmer because I actually felt unprofessional with how bad these fit me! Maybe I should have tried a smaller waist than usual?

The waist size ran smaller than advertised. I wear a 36 waist in jeans and the waist on these was too tight.

I'm happy Dickies is still making pants with the heavy cotton fabric. I wish they would still make them in regular sizing. Relaxed fit would be fine if I had legs like an elephant.

Ordered 38-32. They fit like 35-34. Way too small and long. Seems like good quality otherwise.

Quality seems good but cut is bad. 32 is too small. Pants are way too baggy around the thighs. Annoyed.

Their great pants! But when I got them they were missing the zipper so I sewed on some buttons and made do.

Relaxed fit legs are really baggy. I want to try the regular fit, but it looks like they are only available in some kind of stretch fabric. I don't want a lightweight stretchy synthetic blend. I want hardcore cotton canvas duck. I work in an industrial construction setting where quality and durability mean everything. What happened to your original regular fit duck carpenter pants?

I have purchased the relaxed fit straight leg Carpenter duck pants for years. I was very disappointed that my latest purchase was a different fabric, construction and weight compared to my previous purchases.

These are thinner than original and the color is different, for the increased price I would expect quality , this product does not meet expected quality

I buy your pants all the time. I've probably gone through at least 20 pairs over the past 5 years. I've always gotten size 34-34 and this time the length was way too long on both pairs. I don't think I shrunk. I'll deal with it. Just a little disappointed

Pants are well made and quality. However, in this particular line of duck pants, Dickies has a quality control issue with waist sizes. I have other Dickies denim jeans as well as Wranglers and Saddlebred. My size is 36x34-period, regardless of brand. Ordered two pair of these and both were too tight in the waist. Every other aspect fit well. Read other reviews, there is a waist size production problem in this particular line. Dickies returned no problem.

Quality and workmanship is great, always has been but the fit is terrible. These jeans should be called "baggy" not relaxed fit. I have been wearing Dickee work jeans for more than 30 yrs and it seems like the cut keeps getting bigger and bigger. The waist sizes are no longer proportional to a body that is not obese. There are still a large % of men working that don"t require extra room in the seat and legs, especially in the lower leg section. Its almost to the point that the extra material is becoming a hinderance when working. Because for these reasons I have for he first time started to search for other manufacturers for a better fit. Maybe its time to think about offering an "original fit" cut once again

The pants are ok buy fit is never consistent. I ordered a size over what I would need as well as relaxed fit and still too tight . You can literally buy 5 pairs and have them all fit different.

Tight in the hips. I wear the same thing at work and am fine. But materials have to be changed for some reason. Somebody thinks skinny, hip hugging jeans are for work. Wrong!!! And a 36 " waist isn't offered.

Not sized correctly! Bought two identically sized pair of this style and one pair was 1-2 inches smaller in the waist. Lousy quality control and a waste of resources. We sent the incorrectly sized pants back.

I've worn these pants for YEARS. Always same size, 34x34. These now are small/tight in the waist. I now weigh less than I did 3 years ago. Frustrating!

I have to send two of three of these pants back. The sizing of all three identical sizes is different. The only difference was color. But they should have all been identical carpenter pants. Unfortunate, because the material is great.

I have been buying these same work pants for many years. I bought two pairs and the size on the tag were the same as I always buy, but the fit is much tighter. Be cautious to try on before washing as something has changed in the way these are sized when made.
