I love these pants. Especially for work. The multiple pockets are great for pens, box cutters, etc. my only complaint is that sometimes the waist sizes aren't true. If you order a 30 waist size, sometimes it feels more like a 32. Overall it's a very quality product. I own 9-10 pairs.

My 14 year old daughter loves the cut of the relaxed fit workpants and can't get over their breathability and durability.

I bought these jeans a month ago and I wear it every day for work. I think it's the best pair of jeans I have purchased in years. I am a heavy equipment mechanic and a welder. The pants holds up to everything I throw at it. Keep up the good work Dickies!!!!

Straight fit right down from the waist to the ankles. No tight spots. Definitely recommend.

I recently discovered Dickies Relaxed Fit Straight Leg Carpenter Duck Jeans and I wear them non-stop. I have 6 pairs. I wear the newest ones socially, until they are called upon to replace a pair that I have worn out at work (I work as a mechanic/welder/machinist). They are very hard wearing and can handle being washed hot, hard and often (but, of course, the color will fade slowly). In fact, they run a little large (and generous leg lengths) so washing hot makes them perfect for me. But do be aware, Dickies offer an almost identical pant to 1939 with the same description online, but with Item # DU336. The DU336 is lightly sanded which may make it a little softer initially than 1939 (Duck Jean is pretty 'stiff' until it has seen a few washes) and the hammer loop is slightly different (wider, tighter and riveted on DU336). DU336 is also a few dollars more than 1939. I'm not saying that I prefer DU336 - the hammer loop thing is pretty inconsequential and I think the cuts are identical and the material will end up also being identical after a few washes - but I thought I was ordering pants that were identical to my last ones, so just be aware. But either one, 1939 or DU336 - absolutely awesome pants for the money!

These duck jeans are just the right weight for heavy duty summer yard work. Rugged but not constricting. Durability has yet to be determined, but do not anticipate any issues; appears to be well constructed. Fits true to size. Definitely will buy again!

As always, my Dickies carpenter jeans are a great fit and give me some thing other than jeans to wear to work. They are consistent in fit and performance.

My work as a small HVAC business owner is really hard on work jeans. I've tried all the brands but Dickies is by far the best at any price. They're really tough and the pockets are perfect size.

These pants hold up better than others tried. Very comfortable.

Love the feel. Not too tight and not too loose. Perfect for long days of work where tighter pants may seem uncomfortable. Also love the pockets below the right hip to store a knife, pens, etc. I own a landscaping company and will never own a different pair of pants to work in again. The dickies #1939 are the real deal

The carpenter jeans are a fab'tastic fit and my wife is loving it. They are a bit thick, so if you are in warmer climate,, Otherwise a great looking well made pair of pants.

I bought some long sleeved tee shirts and didn't know what to expect as I usually disappointed, but not with Dickies! Man, these shirts are fantastic. They fit, they are long enough to tuck into my pants and the sleeves actually make it to my wrists. I'm a happy guy!
