I have purchased several of the 1939 jeans. While the other Dickies jeans and pants are great also, the 1939 is made of the heavier fabric that can't be beat. Thats the reason I specify the 1939 jean over any other. Dickies has kept a top of the line product available for those of us who depend on the ruggedness of the 1939. As long as the 1939 is never discontinued, I will forever be a customer. The price is more competitive than any other product on the market in relation to the quality and durability.

I like these pants because they're well built and last a lot longer than blue jeans.

I work in paper manufacturing, high heat, chemicals, water and a lot of moving. These pants get me through it all. Comfort, DURABILITY and quality in the making. I have used Dickies exclusively for years, short sleeve heavy t-shirts also. Even tried that company that begins with a "C". For my money, nothing better! Great customer service as well. P.S. I'm not a big "review" guy, if I take the time to write this, it's earned.

Work in Dickies everyday, great pants at an affordable price

These are just good work pants. They are very comfortable and last a long time. They're able to handle the rigors of day to day work on construction sites, plants, and industrial and commercial facilities. I am 6ft tall and weigh a hundred and ninety pounds. I wear 34 x 34 and they fit extremely well.

More durable and cooler for outside work. They are more comfortable and durable than other material.

Sorry for taking so long to buy another pair--I got my last pair about 11 years ago. Rugged, plenty of pockets, good fit--what more could a man ask for?

I wear only these as my jeans !! I have several pairs and some as long as seven years !! I do cut off the hammer loop and enjoy the two leg side pockets on the right side !! Fits me great !!

The relaxed fit is baggier than I was expecting but it's not uncomfortable or weird looking. Every aspect of these pants is tough and comfortable. Great utility and comfort and the price is right.

I have been wearing Dickies Jeans (Model#1939) for years. The model#1939 is made of the heavier fabric, and feels tougher because of that, yet is more comfortable than any other work jean/ pant I've ever bought.

These are the only work pants my husband will wear. several stores carry the brand but not his size and I actually got them at a reasonable price through the web site. The pocket sizes are perfect for carrying his phone and it does not fall out.
