Customer Reviews Hanes Women's 6-Pair Plush Comfort Toe Seam Crew Socks

I bought a new batch of crew socks to get thru Ohio winter. I have worn Hanes socks for years, but, no more. 1st- Where is the cotton in any of them?? Always a requirement for my feet to stay warm and comfortable. Now all man-made material. 2nd- The socks are nothing like my old Hanes cotton socks. They are TINY and get smaller with every wash! I never had polyester shrink before but they do. I can barely get them on and of course they are not tall enough now on my calf for wearing boots. I do not have large legs or feet! The socks are going to be only good for kids to wear soon. VERY disappointed with what Hanes has done to a good product. I no longer will purchase Hanes socks. Now on the lookout for cotton, normal sized womens socks but I will probably have to buy mens. Why did you have to cut corners and cheapen your product?? I can only guess what you have done to the underwear. I will move on after over 20 yrs buying Hanes.

I returned these because the socks I was sent were not these socks

The tops of the socks are too tight

I hate these socks I wear a pair of steel tie work boots for 8 to 10 hours a day and there is no extra padding with these socks. I walk about 3 to 4 miles a day in my work boots and where's the extra comfort I need from my socks. None with these. No extra warmth for when I am driving a forklift outside in the cold. Nothing extra at all. I can feel the steel toe in my boots with these socks. Bring back my nice thick comfort sock

Crew length is too high, cuts into the muscle on the leg

The foot fit fine. However the upper part of the sock is too tight! I had to cut them with a scissors in order to wear them. So disappointed.
