The mixed reviews were slightly concerning, but I'm so glad I decided to go ahead and give these a try! Not only do they look cool with their patent-leather look (they're actually vegan leather), but they are super comfy with no break-in whatsoever! My feet are weird - they're wide across the front but at the back my ankles are skinny, aaand I have high arches. I got these in wide to accommodate my front foot, and went down half a size - and the fit feels great. Surprisingly the back doesn't slip at all, as is often the problem I have. I tighten the laces just at the ankles and the boot stays put in back. The arch support is great, too! All this in a boot that looks so good, I'll probably end up using it for going out, more than work. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these boots and would def recommend!

They are so big and heavy I couldn't imagine driving in them. It sucks that they don't have a zipper. They go way too high to comfortably work in them. They are just way too big I feel like a clown in them.

These are so cute and equally comfortable. I was suprised i was able to pick in them all day (10 hour shift).

I loved the feel and the look. Unfortunately it felt about 2 sizes too big. I ordered and got a size 8 Wide but felt much bigger. I own 2 other pair of size 8 boots, one pair being steel toe, and when I put them side by side, the avenger's were longer.

I'm glad I read the reviews first before purchasing. Because they definitely run big. I am an 8, but went with a 7.5. Still almost a half size too big. But perfect with thick socks. Which you will need because of the ankle part. That definitely needs padding. Also agree with previous review, that they definitely look like Bratz Doll Shoes!! (100%) But 1000% better looking than Any other work books I have ever had. Also the MOST COMFORTABLE work boots I have ever owned!!! I have ALWAYS had on issue or another. First time a boot is all the way around comfortable! Even the composite toe doesn't hurt! Amazing!! And No Need to break in! They feel like I've been wearing them for years.

The shoes are bulky like what a bratz doll would wear. I find it cute. If your a size 9, I went up half a size just in case. I would say go down half a size for the perfect fit. But the extra space is much appreciated!

They was wayyyyy too big! Like WAY too big!!!

The boot is taller than Doc. Marten Jadon platforms. It stops higher on the calves. I wore these boots to an 3 day music festival on grass. It was comfortable with orthotics insoles. It felt heavy and clunky. Fine for a music festival but maybe not in Amazon warehouse. I personally walk a lot and fast though the warehouse. With a orthopedic insole and cotton sock the fit felt true-to-size.

Really nice looking but a bit bigger than true to size so size down!

Beware! These run absolutely HUGE! I wear a 9.5/10 and I ordered an 8.5 and they were still massive. They either run in mens sizes or are just that far off in sizing. If ordering drop at least 1 whole shoe size, I'd say even 1.5

I absolutely LOVE these shoes! Definitely size down a full size down if you can. Great arch support and a thick sole! Only downfall is no zipper. A little stiff in the ankle until there broken in.

The soles are extremely comfortable and the boots are really pretty! I had to order a half a size down from my normal Sze and I still have a little bit of room in the boot which is nice! Also wear thick socks because you definitely have to break them in and they could potentially rub on your ankles with thin socks. That being said they are the prettiest work boots I've had yet!

I was hesitant about getting these, i love the style but was worried they would be to heavy and bulky. They’re surprisingly not heavy at all! They’re super comfortable and even have some arch support. I’m so glad I took a chance on these! I even wear them out and not just to work. I’ll definitely get them again as my next pair of work shoes.

I actually love these boots!! Didn't need to break them in. They were comfy from the start. I work at Amazon, 10 hours shift, 4 times a week and they've been pretty awesome the whole 9 months I've had them do far. I didn't even need to add an insole. I will say though, it's best to wear two pairs of socks (which I do, one pair of compression socks and then a normal pair over those) but other than that I love these boots!!! I would order them again but there not available now. Also, I kind of started a trend at my Amazon location!!! Once people saw mine, many others bought some too!!!

Way way big, order 1 or even 2 sizes down. I was hopeful that the reviews were exaggerated-they are not. The picture is these boots in a size 6 next to some doc martin boots in a size 6.

I’m normally a size 10, went with everyone else’s reviews and went half a size down and these are perfect, they are padded at the toe so you don’t feel the hardness like other shoes and they do have a padded arch support as well so they are comfortable. Picture is with my size 10 doc martens, about the same as the 9.5 looks bulkier because of the steel toe

I will start by saying I am in love with these boots they are super stylish and comfortable. I was skeptical at first, of course. But I’m glad I gave them a try. I wear a size 8 in women’s but I did take everyone’s advice and ordered a size down. So I got a 7. As soon as I put my feet in them, I fell in love. They fit perfect and you can feel the cushion inside. I thought they would be heavy and that I would have to break them in. Nope. I wore them to work the very next day, ten and a half hours and I was fine. My back did hurt a little, like literally a little, the first day due to it being a different shoe and platform, but my feet themselves were good. I have even worn them outside of work. Would definitely recommend and like I said, super stylish and different. Nobody believed they were composite toe boots. Reminds me of the doc martins but cheaper. I want a pair in every color now.

Absolutely love this boot! Can go from work to a relaxed casual fall evening out in these or run errands. The replaceable insoles provide the same level of cushioning from the arch to the heels. Because this is a boot and not an athletic shoe I had to remain mindful when doing pivoting movements while breaking them in. For size selection, in addition to other customer reviews I also read the product description to learn the size used in product measurements. Some reviews mentioned the product weight and yes they are heavy...More boot, more materials, more weight in which I don't mind nor notice as the work day moves along. Thank you Amazon!

Ok so for starters this are very stylish for safety shoes. I likkkkeeee. For as the width I can’t say if it’s true cause I ordered my size which is a 8reg but I ordered wide cause I have plantar fasciitis so I needed to put my orthotics in them and I can’t say if it good arch support cause I wear a orthotic for arch support. But what a can say is I work 11hr shifts and these boots felt great after. My feet wasn’t hurting like my other shoes did after my shift. They are light even tho they look heavy but they’re not. I love the platform heel, I feel it helps also.

I’m so sad it didn’t fit, I sized down half a size. It was still so big! It did feel comfortable while trying in but does look like clown shoes so I am returning them. Definitely size down a full size or 1.5 sizes down

I ordered one full size down from my usual size, per other reviewers' recommendations, and got the wide to accommodate a bunion - and the fit is PERFECT! The boot is only slightly heavy, as would be expected with any boot of substance; it is not too much even with all the walking I do though the warehouse. I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent arch support and overall comfort of this boot. The high shaft does create a bit of limitation of movement, but I am willing to adjust to this because I need the extra ankle support and definitely feel I am getting that with this design. I would purchase this exact same boot again, but I probably won't need to for some time as it seems to be made very well. EXTRA BONUS: So awesome cool in the black patent that you'll want to wear this boot out, not just for work! I get compliments on these boots pretty much every time I wear them!

These boots run REALLY big. I’m a true 7.5 and I probably could’ve gotten away with a 6.5. ORDER AT LEAST HALF A SIZE SMALLER than you regularly wear! They’re cute as the day is long, but pretty heavy. My employer paid for them, otherwise I might not be too happy.

Maybe go down a full size from your typical shoe. I'm usually an eight, but their size chart calls my foot a 7½ and even that is a half-size too large. Still comfortable and wearable. As soon as the new year hits I'm getting the same pair but in that beautiful shiny black pvc. They're durable,, weighty w/o being heavy,, and cute as hell in and outside of work in the opinion of this goth.

I love the way they look. I got pulled over by my site safety team cause they look like doc martens. Compliments on them all the time. They're pretty durable it took most of the year before I started wearing out my last pair. They are faux leather so your feet will sweat a lot. I actually almost got athletes foot from it. I highly recommend some arch support insoles.
