Size was bigger than thought . Know for next time.

What I ordered was nothing like the undies I expected; the fabric is very thin. I'll have to see whether there's any benefit in summer weather.

The Vanity Fair underpants do not compare well with my older pairs of Vanity Fair underpants. The underpants I recently received feel silky, but the fabric is very thin. The elastic around the legs and waist is not covered and is uncomfortable. They fit true to size. My older pairs are constructed much better for comfort. I am 83 years old and have been wearing Vanity Fair for many, many years!

These panties are not as nice as ones I currently have. My current panties have a silky waistband and are more comfortable. They fit me better too. These new pairs are higher on the waist than in the back and are a bit too big, though they are the same size as I always wear. I am frankly disappointed in the quality of the product.

I've worn one pair twice and there is a hole in a seam. Not the quality you expect from Vanity Fair.

I received my order of briefs. My opinion is they are just ok. They fit well, but the quality of fabric isn't the same as other briefs I had from Vanity Fair. I don't know if there are different kinds of fabric for other kinds of briefs, or if they are all the same. It's hard to actually tell when reviewing. I have some older briefs that are just wonderful, smooth, stretchy, fit so comfortably. I will keep them since there are no stores nearby that carry them.

The material on Illumination is heavier, thicker. The Illumination has more stretch and fits better and feels better. The crouch is better in the Illunination; it is more flexible and the same color as the rest of the breif. The Illumination fits a bit lower around the waste. The gets Illumation 5 stars.

Sizing was not what I expected (bigger than same # of other brands)

I never thought I'd have this chance..... Most call, the style I bought, "Granny pants". So...why is the waist elastic so darn unforgiving. I still would buy and wear a Size 6 but the waist is so teeny tiny (yes, at age 80 my waist has expanded) that it is uncomfortable. I bought six pair of Size 7 's and now I have a saggy butt feeling and.....still tightish in the waist. A mature figure needs more room please.

I was disappointed with the materials used to make these panties. The panties were very simple and looks cheap. I was under the impression that the name Vanity Fair would be quality work and quality materials used in their products.

sizing was large, I donated them to women's shelter.

The panties were very pretty and well constructed. The leg openings were, however, not comfortable. I will be returning them and ordering some that have Lycra in them for more stretch.

I have worn these for years, loved them. This time I find the elastic to be skimpy and of less quality. Not made in the USA

So disappointed that new undies have very poor elastic- like no stretch

I love the fit of these panties.....have worn them for over 20 years. But the last ones I received have, within a few weeks, started tearing away at the front crotch. I don't like this at all.

I needed to replace some of my black nylon undies and these were all I could find. There were no plain black ones available so settled for the lace trimmed ones. I had purchased some of these about 3 years ago and was disappointed in the lace inset. In my very old ones the lace was set in but in those and my recent purchase pairs, the lace sticks out and looks really funny. But as long as you are wearing slacks over them (!) they will do.

I bought three because they are so comfortable and lightweight to sleep in all year round! I have had this type nightgown for years! This time however the trim at the upper chest line is sharp and cutting...the edges are not smooth as in the ...it past hurts your bare arms when they brush across it...it is not a good thing when one is trying to get comfortable for sleep...change this to a softer finish and you will make me a happy camper.

Bought these for me and my husband. We both wear size 9 but they were really big for both of us.

After one washing one pair fell apart. Not the greatest quality, very disappointed

Ordered a 3 pack of black & beige but got a 3 pack of navy, white & light blue.

I ordered the Vanity Fair panties because I thought they would be the same as the ones that I had been wearing for years--same size, same design, maybe slightly different basic material. To my disappointment the ones I just bought were much smaller. The waist is about 2 inches shorter and a bit uncomfortably. The body of the new panties is somewhat smaller and fits more snugly and therefore not quite as comfortable as my old ones.

Disappointed in the quality of the fabric compared to past purchases.

The material is very thin almost see-through. The panties run large, size down if you're planning on purchasing them. They also have a non elastic waist band that looks like it will stretch over time with washing and wearing. They are full brief with a cotton crotch

Fabric very flimsy. Not true to size. Size 10 really big. Wouldn't order again.

I have purchased this very product for YEARS and am so terribly disappointed in the change in material and the change to the size that I returned the ones I just bought. The old pairs still have elastic at legs and waist and the briefs are still great. The new ones are way, way thinner material and less robust elastic. I'm sorry to be writing this, which you probably won't publish.
