I'm 6'2" 220lbs so Im not a small guy. I bought the 40/30 and the waist fits fine but these do not fit as a slim pair of pants AT ALL. The description says the leg opening is 16.5" but when I put these on its more like 19. I even measured with body tape. These look incredibly baggy on me and I don't understand why. I have 17in calves and these are not tight on me or slim fitting whatsoever and I've seen other reviews saying they're too tight. This is my first pair of Wranglers cowboy cuts and I'm disappointed in the way they fit me. I simply wanted a pair of pants that would contour a little more to my body with that slimmer look and they don't at all. I have a pair of Wrangler realxed boot cut pants that are slimmer fitting than these. I've added photos for context.

I have worn Wrangler jeans all my life. Never has it been so difficult to find the right size. Too many different styles and each style has different fit for the same size as a different style. The prices have gotten ridiculous and the jeans do not last like they used to.

These are good quality jeans, just WAY off on consistency with sizing of other style jeans. I wear a 30x32 or 31x32 (depending on the cut) of almost all Wrangler jeans. I ordered a 31x32 to be on the safe side, and wow, are they super small. Feels more like a 28 than a 31. It's frankly ridiculous that you can't count on consistent sizing.

For some reason, the last two pairs of wranglers I have received start to rip slowly at the back pocket. I'm unsure what is going on or if I am getting defective pairs, but the pairs I have gotten this year have ripped. Even the ones I got two weeks ago have started to rip. I love wrangler jeans but for 2 of my pairs to rip that are somewhat new and both in this year is scary.

I am a long-time Wrangler wearer - 936DEN, 936PWD, and 936 in various colors - and have always been impressed with the quality, fit, durability, and price. However, since production moved from Mexico to Nicaragua I have noticed a drastic change in the fit of all 936 models. As other reviewers have noted, they are no longer slim! The fit has changed significantly. I know it's not me - I have lots of old pairs around and they fit the same way they did a year ago, two years ago, etc. The new models are coming out different, with more (unwanted) ease in the legs. I don't mind that they are made in a different place, but your quality assurance needs to improve to make sure the product is coming out the same as it did before, the same is it did for years and years. Or, if the models have been updated on purpose, bring back the old fit, or introduce a 936 variant that goes back to the old, slimmer, definition of slim. If not, I'm afraid I'm going to have to start looking for a new brand of jeans to wear.

There is a sizing problem with the wrangler cowboy cut slim fit jean in 30x30 in Bleach. This is the size i wear in my other style wrangler jeans, BUT this style runs very small in the waist. This is actually the second pair in this style that i had to return for the exact same reason. I thought the first pair was just a siziing error.

Sizing is strange which is a problem because wranglers return policy is extremely difficult ( they refuse to provide a shipping label so you can spend your afternoon at the post office getting a plastic bag weighed, after you print out and complete this form by hand ). You can't go into the store, no way to avoid this. There's no way it's worth the trouble to shop online with them given you might want to return it for size, no other retailer does this.

I wish you made wranglers like you did in earlier year's. These are not slim fit jeans. They used to fit me really well. The denim is not a good quality denim. I wish you would go back to the original way they were made. This used to be my favorite brand.

I'm a size 31 X 30 regularly, and ordered them in that size. They didn't fit so I returned them and order a size bigger and still were very small on the waist

The fit is not correct. I Wear 31 W and 34 L, it perfectly works for all other brands, expect for this one, where waist was short. Overal, the jeans are expensive and are designed poorly. Also, paying $12 for delivery and $8 for return of the unsuitable item will never make buy from Wrangler again.

I've been buying your 0936 Cowboy Cut Slim Fit Jeans for decades with no problem. Now I'm disappointed - even shocked- that you have changed the fit without any warning. The problem is that the 'Back Rise' on these jeans has always measured 16 1/4" - 16 1/2" inches. Now suddenly the 'Back Rise' only measures a measly15" inches. This makes these jeans most uncomfortable. The shorter rise also makes the jeans stand away from my back. What happened? Why have you done this? I can no longer buy these jeans. You claim these jeans are a "High Rise" fit, but they definitely are not "High Rise" any longer.

Photos show a nice neat looking fitbut in our reality, it is so very baggy. Might be good for the next person but the fit is just not right for a 70 year old man who is rather fit for his age. Was looking for something that was a tighter, much neater look and not so baggy in the rear end. Anyone have any suggestions? Everyday bodies are not like trim young models. Need to show your jeans on someone older as well as young. We've tried several Wrangler styles with no luck.

They do not fit true to size. Way too small and unbearably uncomfortable. After reading the other comments, Wrangler acknowledges that each pair may run differently in size. That is poor quality control and no way to run a business. So much for an American company.

Ordered 3 pair in 32 34. Received them good but when I tried them on i Couldn't even button one pair was so tight. Other 2 pairs I could swim in. When measured with a sewing tape one was 31 waist and other 2 were 35 waist. All tagged as 32/34. Poor quality and customer service was also sketchy when contacted about the issue. I'll get mine from a local retailer from now on for same price or even cheaper.

Wrangler quality is good awful. First time I put these on one of the belt loops just popped it's stitching, leaving a hole and a flaccid belt loop. When I asked for a refund, they said to send them back and they'd send me a new pair but THROW THE FIRST PAIR OUT. It would be simple to go get them fixed but the fact that they would just toss them is disgusting and wasteful. I expected better and it's disappointing that such a large company could be so careless.
