Good sturdy construction. A little tight, even going 1/2 size bigger (usually wear 9 1/2). Good looking shoe and comfortable to wear all day.

This pair was comfortable right out of the box. These are more of a "dress" boot compared to the Clybourn (which I bought at the same time), but also look great with a pair of jeans.

I decided to try a pair of Milwaukee boots because I liked the story. I liked the styles available and decided on the Lakefront. I took the advice given and ordered a size smaller than I normally would have. They fit very well. They were comfortable almost immediately. I think they look really good, and are great to wear all day. I will definitely order another style. These boots are good value.

Got my pair of Lakefronts in on the tail end of last week and what can I say besides I am absolutely in love. One of the comfiest pairs of boots in my closet and a breeze to work not only my 9-5 in but also sport as I capture images for people on their wedding days. Nothing but praise for these and I look forward to supporting MKE Boot Co further.

Well, you never know about buying shoes/boots online but the Lakefront fit what I was looking for at a price that wouldn't break the bank if it didn't live up to the owner's hype. They arrived quickly with good communication about where they were in the shipping process. They were really comfortable out of the box and seemed to be easy to break in, especially the tall part around the ankle. Soft and supple, it never chaffed or caused any problem. When I wore them to work the next day, I noticed a pain on the top of my foot where the tongue was sewn to the toe of the boot about halfway through the day. I thought it was just stiff or it would go away. The third day I wore them the pain still began halfway through the day so It wasn't going to be a break-in issue. It ended up being a knot in the tread that was causing my pain. I reached out to Milwaukee Boot Company for a solution. They were gracious and asked for pictures. I sent a couple of shots that really didn't show much (have you ever tried to photograph a knot inside a boot?). Even with the totally inconclusive pics, I was told, "we are not going to discount the pain you are experiencing. Attached is a mailing label. Just send them back and we will replace them." I'm happy to report that this company stands behind their products with exceptional customer service. I will definitely purchase again and I have told everyone in the office about them!

great style, quality, & fit

Great shoes - look/feel good. On the downside the heel tab broke after about one week. Working on an exchange but will give these boots another try. Hope this was a fluke and not an indication of overall poor workmanship - hence the 3 *'s overall.

Looked good, but wasn’t impressed with quality, started falling apart just in a couple of months

I bought the lakefront wanted the black and was sent gaucho. Would have worn the black more but nice boot

Maybe a 5 Star, but haven't worn enough to make that call. So far so good
