They have no grip on hardwood floors except for the small rubber patch on the heel. It's almost dangerous how these slip on the floor the moment the heel leaves contact with the floor. I ordered wide, but they aren't wide enough to feel totally comfortable. The toe narrows too much toward the tip. They look great and "grown up" while still being casual. But unfortunately, probably going to return them before attempting to wear them out in the world.

Like the shoes. There was a strong smell, but it has faded over time.

A stylish shoe that delivers in value and good comfort. I purchased these for overseas summer travel. They breathe well and are comfortable on an airplane and for walking, plus versatile enough to dress up or down. The only minor annoyance is a loud "squeak" from the heel tread, when stopping or turning abruptly on a smooth surface. Other than that, very happy with my purchase.

Great, especially since all the Cole Haan similar shoes were too narrow, and Skechers don't open up at the top (the tongue) to slip on over my high arch bone. A bit 'smelly', but am airing them out outside. Taking to Italy to attend a wedding, nice and light (packable) and versatile.

Shoes are great so far. Nunn Bush customer from way back. Would recommend that if you're going to be using an insert (the insoles that come with the shoes come out very easily), then I'd recommend going a 1/2 size bigger. The soles seem to have some kind of coating on them when brand new, so be careful walking on tile or hardwood as they are slick until the coating wears off from carpet/concrete/asphalt usage. Overall I'm pleased as usual with Nunn Bush products.

Fit & sizing is great. Also, the style. I really like wearing these, they look great and were very comfortable from he first try. However, I got 2 pairs of Nun Bush's boots, and 3 oxfords in different color, for all five I feel the same, but...but...the sole is really bad, it just feals cheap. I don't mean in comfort, with their insole all these are very comfortable, but the sole durability is to question. With just a couple of wears and the soles in all of them are already starting to show some degradation fairly quick. I'm not sure how long will they last. Boots are not a problem, cause winter were I live is short, so they for sure wilI last another one hopefully. But the oxfords I use all the time, and I'm not sure how long they will last. I understand at this price point, where are they coming with these, and it was still a great deal, 3 pairs of oxfords and 2 pairs of boots for around 280. If they would improve on the sole material I would definitely consider purchasing again.

Zappos suggested shoe size is spot on. The shoes fit well, are comfortable and are very stylish. However, as another reviewer pointed out, the shoes are very slippery. The tread is very poor no matter what surface you walk on. So I will be returning them.

These smells like mothballs. The smell won't go away.

Love these shoes, except they off-gas a lot. I've had them for weeks, and they're still putting out a strong chemical smell. Had to move them out of the closet and into garage. I can even smell them when wearing them in my car. Seems to be some byproduct of the manufacturing. Got these in three different colors, and they all smell the same. So only giving 3 out of 5 starts for the overall rating.

Husband says these shoes are very comfortable and look great, but they have a strong chemical smell that makes them unwearable. We aired them out for almost 2 weeks and the smell remained. Had to return.

There is an intense asphalt/petroleum smell to the shoes. I tried airing them out but it remains. Never put them on.

Very strong chemical off-gassing smell. Light and comfortable but don't anticipate them lasting long.

The toe and sole is coming apart after hardly wearing them maybe 5 times. Would like a refund.

This is a stylish and comfortable shoe and the price is right. Unfortunately after less than 10 uses the heel pad is coming off on both shoes. Had to buy shoe goo to keep them on. I have another pair and this hasn’t happened yet but suspect it will after a few more uses. Would not purchase again.
