On first trying on, they felt great. But the footbed was too stiff & hard for my needs. I had 7 surgical procedures on my foot last year & am attempting to find shoes that are supportive & wider through the toebox without being too wide in the heel area. After walking around the house in these for about 30 minutes, both my feet went numb. I hasd such high hopes, as the colors are great & they felt very well made. Back to the drawing board!

I have large bunions and shoe fit/comfort always a challenge. These shoes (7.5 XX wide) had plenty of room. I usually get an 8 or maybe 7.5; but this 7.5 is plenty long -- maybe could have done a 7 but didn't dare try. So happy with the width.

My favorite athletic shoe changed it's style so I thought I would give these a try. Unfortunately, They are about a half an inch narrower than the comparable athletic shoe in the same size and width. I need the extra width so had to return these. They seemed nice otherwise.

I have a difficult time finding shoes that fit because one foot is wider than the other. These are perfect for walking and around the house!

Comfy right out of the box. Good traction. There are two inserts to help adjust if you have a high instep like me. I put in my own insole for better arch support.

I should have ordered my true lenght size (7.5). I went 1/2 bigger because so many shoes are too tight and I it turns out that the EEE truly is wide enough for my bunions! Oh joy!! Returning for a 7.5 EEE.

I need a very wide shoe. I ordered these in 4E size 8.5, which is my usual size. They were WAY too long. I sent them back and ordered an 8. Still too long. Sent those back and ordered a 7.5. I kept those, but probably still could have gone down to a 7. I haven't worn a 7 since elementary school! These have a stiff, sturdy sole, which is what I was looking for. I'm using these as a kind of "hiking" shoe. Other more traditional hiking shoes either aren't wide enough for me or the top above the toes is so stiff it hurts the top of my big toe as I walk. These shoes are wide enough in 4E, and the top mesh area softened up after a couple hours of wearing them around the house. I am happy with the shoes, and glad Zappos is so good about returns so that I could finally get a size that fits!

The fit wad so so. I sent my original size & width back & then went 1 size up same width. I really liked them but were kinda on the heavy side. I have bad feet/ankles. Nice shoe though.

I couldn't find the heel toe drop info on this shoe but in reading the shoe's info thought I'd take a chance. In wearing them I could tell it wasn't as much as I needed. Also I purchased a 2E width and this was a bit snug for a 2E plus both feet rubbed on the bone where you get bunions. I do have one on one foot, but not the other and both shoes were rubbing. I honestly feel that has something to do with the shoe styling as well as the width not quite being a 2E.

I loved these shoes! Right up to the point where I attempted a forward lunge movement. The break across the forefoot is all wrong. Painful, in fact.

I bought these a year ago. I have worn them on hikes, but not every day. Today the toe became detached from the front sole. Also the cloth on the inside of my foot wore off and exposed foam. Good shoes until they wore out.
