This came in so handy when we took our grandson to the zoo. My husband and I both were able to carry him with ease and it was a great relief to our arms and back. He loves it because he sits up high and can see over our heads with no problems. The multitude of pockets is great for carrying all the extras you need with a small child. It is very sturdy and quite comfortable.

My husband brought our two year old toddler out for a quick hike in this and he had nothing but wonderful things to say. It was easy to move around and climb up steps with our daughter. It get just like wearing a back pack. My daughter was content and happy the whole time. She even ended up falling asleep. The straps are easy adjust for the backpack and for kid portion as well. The quality is great and it looks great too! Give it a try.

I am very impressed with this backpack. It's the perfect size for shorter distance walks or hikes. It can hold quite a bit of items. very durable material that will last a long time. Came with two flexible plastic water bottles. Straps are all adjustable for the perfect fit. The whole back is padded so nothing pokes or bothers you inside the bag.

This Deuter Kid Comfort Venture hiking carrier is perfect for those who love the outdoors and have a baby to carry with you. Its easy to use and very safe to strap your child in and begin your outdoor adventure. This is the coolest thing I have seen invented.

My family loves to hike, and we have kids of all ages. My nephew just turned 2 so on our hikes he doesn't last very long walking on his own. Before finding this carrier we used a regular baby carrier and that just wasn't comfortable. This carrier has the perfect structure while also having soft canvas material so both My nephew and I are comfortable on our hikes. Our last hike we went for 3 hours and 90% of that time my nephew was in the carrier. I had no issues carrying him the entire hike I was extremely comfortable and he was supported perfectly.

My little guy finally hit the weight threshold for this outdoor carrier and we were so excited to break it in hiking this past weekend! I loved that this carrier has so many adjustable straps making it useable by both me and my husband. The carrier felt great on the back with the weight distribution and so much padding. I was pleasantly surprised that my back wasn't terribly drenched after hiking for a few hours. The ventilation on the back as well as having the child sit further back, provided a lot of comfort. I also greatly appreciated the extra storage compartment and the kickstand!

We recently had our first baby and we're looking forward to taking her with us on family adventures. This is exactly what we needed! It is so easy to get adjusted to fit me with lots of options to make it fit just right and I think it's super comfortable for both me and the baby to use. Really looking forward to getting a bunch of use out this - seems plenty durable! Definitely recommend!

Used for the past few months on hikes and daycare pickup for my 3-year old. She loves riding in the Venture and it makes her 30# feel lighter than you would expect.

I'm really impressed with this unisex carrier and plan to use it for years. Features I love: First of all it is light - just six pounds unloaded. It is easy to adjust so more than one person can do carrying duty and fits kids up to 48 pounds. It feels very secure. Other pluses: It has a kickstand so can be set down to load it or if you need to put it down along the way. There are storage pockets and optional add ons like a sun/rain cover.

Let me start by saying that I bought this backpack more for commuting than trail running Looking for something small and light to carry my work clothes, I usually run about 10 km to the office a few times a week in the summer. I know it's not exactly what it was designed to do, but my issues with this pack are there regardless of discipline. The Good. It's light and comfortable the bad, it's not sweatproof at all. After arriving to work the clothes in my pack are more soaked than the clothes I'm wearing during the run. The back panel and padding seem to suck up all the sweat and distribute evening across everything in the back. The second drawback is the pole holder pouch, so close to being useful, but in my opinion, it's an absolute fail. If you aren't carrying your poles it's just flopping around and being annoying. From what I can tell there is no way for it to be removed. It would be perfect as a phone holder if it wasn't so light and connected to the straps. When you put a phone, but with a phone inside, it's flapping all over the place and hitting my body. I know it was designed for that, but still a missed opportunity. I use one of the flask pockets to hold the phone, and that works quite well, and as it's a short run, I don't need two bottles anyway.
