I've purchased two pairs of these shoes and both have had the rubber on the sides separate from the canvas in a few months of wear. I've never had a pair of vans do that in so little time.

Very heavy & although the fit is perfect it flops on the back when you walk think flip-flop. A heavy flip-flop. As pricey as this are I am incredibly disappointed in the quality.

I absolutely love my Black platform Vans. They look so good with my boot cut jeans etc but they have fallen apart right away on the sides. Super bummed out tried returning them at the store but it was past 30 days? They are super comfy just wish mine didn't fall apart

I have been getting the checkered platform for years now. It's my go to shoe & they are a daily wear & they are not the same. My old ones used to last for months even up to a year. I bought some on July for my birthday & they didn't even last for a month. They separate so easily. I'm so sad about that. I really want to continue to love them, but at that price & the quality not being on par with it I'm considering finding a new shoe for my daily wear. :(

I've bought 3 pairs of these platform slips on now and they are made terribly. I'm a teacher and use them daily but the soles break off within a month

I love the way these shoes look and feel, but almost as soon as I wore them the canvas body started ripping away from the soles.

I exchanged 3 pairs of these within a week because they kept falling apart. The rubber kept completely separating from the canvas. None of my other vans did that. Super disappointing because I think it was probably a batch issue but it's too late to get a new pair.

These stackforms are over the top! Bring back platforms :(

The shoe size or fit is not accurate . I ordered my normal size which is a 9 and they were enormous . Then just received the 8.5 and they slip right off.

Was great to get my shoes so fast, but they're full of flaws. There are snags in the blue canvas parts of both shoes & sequins were applied haphazardly esp. to left shoe. Quality is horrible, even for seconds.

I was so excited to receive these as a gift I asked for for Christmas. I'm highly disappointed in the fact that the canvas "white" is very much a cream color while the stacked sole is pure white. I don't like the color difference at all. I also got a pair of purple and white regular checkered and they are pure white with pure white. I expected white and black to mean white, not cream... The canvas looks dingy compared to the nice white of the sole.

I purchased the all black stackform slip ons but of course they won't be restocking them this always happens when I find a style I love.

I was so excited to get these right after my birthday. I've always loved Vans and I own several pairs, and I had always wanted a pair of platforms because I always thought they were cute! But, I've only had them for 3 months and the sides are already separating very badly from the shoe, and just from normal wear. It's quite disappointing as I do love them, but pretty soon I won't be able to wear them anymore. Vans, please improve the Stackform slip-ons!

Hi. I've been shopping from vans for a long time up until now. I had this exact pair of platform vans for 8 years. These were my favorite shoes. I wore them out like you wouldn't believe. My dad had to glue the outside sides to the shoe because they'd rip from wearing so much like i LOVED these shoes. This is not a bad review on the shoes, more so how the company responded to me. I finally needed a new pair after 8 years and decided to go to my local mall to get one. I was wearing a size 8 for all those years so normally, I'd expect to be an 8 and the store wouldn't let me try on inbetween sizes (7.5-8) because they were lazy and told me to "just pick one I'm not getting multiple). So i went with. my gut and got the size 8. Went home just to find out they feel huge. I walk and the back of the soles slap my heel and back of leg almost like a flip flop. I went to the mall and tried to return them and the clerk refused to take them because they had a tiny mark on the sides which was from walking on my floor. They hadn't been outside at all. It's sad because I was a lifelong customer but if i'm paying $65-$70 for a pair of shoes, youd think the workers would care about how you felt about the shoes especially if you wanted to exchange them for a smaller size. Do better vans, I get the vibe of trying to be a "cool and laid back company skater vibes whatever" but utilize the importance of professionalism when it comes to people who work hard for their money they're giving to you to promote your brand.

I bought these shoes because I loved the style and they were a great fit. After just wearing them 3 different times the rubber sides started to separate from the checkered material. I took them back because I assumed it was a defective pair and got a new pair but the same thing happened.

I bought two pairs and within months they both ripped. I was so shocked when the first pair ripped because it was so soon and I'm not as active. And then the second pair did as well the same exact way. They just don't make them like they used to. Years ago I would use them daily and I was super active and never had problems. Of course they torn but because I was very active and running all the time. This time it wasn't the same. Very disappointing because quality went down and price went up.

I am always one to buy Vans because I have wide feet and they fit me nice and comfortable. I've been wearing vans for over 7 years already and have never had a problem with the slip on ones. But with these, the soles are already coming apart and I've only had them for about 2 months. I only wear them to work and sometimes when I go out and about to run errands.

Very disappointed in these shoes. They are great until you have to wash them. Water turns the white yellow. I have owned multiple pairs of these and tried all cleaning methods and it does not work.

I received these as a gift March 2024 and they're already falling apart by December 2024. I've had Vans that last years even if I wear them every day. These have never even been washed or dried. I'm very disappointed because I love them so much.

There is no way any person who is not color blind would consider these shoes "black and white!" I am a professional interior designer and considered a color expert. These shoes are black and BEIGE and hideous. It's the second pair we received this month that are different as described. You can't trust Vans anymore!

Please please please bring back the classic slip-on platform vans. No stackfoam!! We want the in between one with only a slight platform

I loved these shoes, the color, stackform, everything was perfect! Until they completely fell apart after less than 1 month. I only wore them to work (sitting at a desk) and was shocked how horrible the quality was. All other colors that i have of the same shoe are holding up fine, but these ones are absolute trash.

sized up and still uncomfortable. super narrow. do not recommend

Disappointed to have purchased these shoes. The sizing is off, the back of the shoes rub you raw. They are very narrow and pointy, no longer rounded and comfortable. Wishing that I would have returned these. Will not be purchasing in the future.
