If you have thin feet and shoes like loafers or even Dr.Martens tend to rub on your ankles, then you may want to skip these out. I say may because I love these shoes despite my ankles' rubbing/bruising/nicking. They are gorgeous and easy to walk around, especially if you are like me, who rarely wears heels and prefers platforms like the Dr.Martens Sandal Platform. If you do purchase these and worry about the ankles, here is what worked for me- you can wear these down with a pair of pants or a skirt that can cover the shoes if you choose to wear socks with them OR if you are going to a gala or event (I use these for a gala) I had due to carpal tunnel KT tape (you do not need to purchase KT Tape you can buy any type of Kinesiology Tape) and wrap about 2 or 3 pieces of the tape along the side of your feet being careful not to let the tape show especially if you purchase or own a brighter color! It worked so well and it even help in preventing feet pain.
