I have been eyeing these for months and months. Finally had to try them. I love the color and style. I have always worn a 7 US or 37.5-38 Euro. I tried three different sizes of these. NONE fit. I have never had a “wide” foot. These were all narrow at the back of the foot; and, extremely painful every size I tried, 37.5, 38, 38.5. They were stiff and heavy and hard. The most disappointing and uncomfortable bout ever:(

I ordered these last winter after returning another pr of free people boots that I thought were as uncomfortable as the description 2 other reviews gave the Ruby boots. Maybe there was a mix up in the reviews for the different prs bc the other pr had several "uncomfortable reviews". I actually found the ruby boots to be very comfortable and actually order a second pr. I even had to walk an unplanned 1.5 miles in them through Richmond. I was concerned about blisters but my feet were fine. Love the look at feel of these boots!

So disappointed with these. I dreamed about them for weeks then finally ordered. They are just beautiful but so terribly uncomfortable. Hard as a rock with no indication they could ever be broken in.

You could see the indentation my big toe made in the show. I wear a 9.5 in sneakers and a 10 in heels/ boot heels. I am tempted to go one size up.
