The size and fit were great, for a walking shoe. What i did not like the shoe design raises the heal and all the pressure is put on the front of the foot which is where I have trouble with pain. The shoe negated my orthotics and to much pressure on the front of the foot.

I got these for my husband, who not only has wide feet, but they are also flat so he tends to get a ton of ankle pain and rolls his ankles. He LOVES them! They have great support and help propel him forward when he is walking. The extra piece on the bottom of the shoe takes some getting used to, especially when going down stairs, so watch out for that. Overall a great find!

Ordered 1/2 size larger and needed a full larger

My husband has knee and ankle problems and these shoes really help take the pressure off his heels. These shoes have helped him work a full day.

I liked the shoe fit and style EXCEPT FOR THE HEEL PROTRUDING ON THE BOTTOM OF THE SOLE. The protruding heel was a no go for me because it results in an abnormal foot strike (not smooth) when walking. If the extended heel was "tapered" towards the front of the shoe to allow for a smooth foot strike it would be a perfect shoe. The "double strike" feel when walking is just weird (like a clop clop feeling with each foot when walking).

OMG!!! These shoes are uber comfy. I bought a pair for my husband as well. They definitely deliver on their promise.

I think they run small. After 6 hours my feet were sore. Gravity defyers are a good brand.

I like to wear men shoes because i have wide feet. I have worn gravity defyers before. This shoe felt a lot smaller. I usually wear mens 71/2 wide. This was an 8 wide. But the length was short. I till wear it because I needed new shoes. I ordered another in 8 1/2. Hoping it fits

I walk my dog about 3-4 miles per day so I go through walking shoes like they were matching boxes of Kleenex. So, picked up these Gravity Defyer's to see if they can keep up the pace with me and my dog. So far, so good. They are true to size, width (I usually need to go with wide, but D was fine), and the style is cool as well. You need a couple of days to break in. Like a week, a few hours per day, otherwise it ain't gonna go well. The initial impression I had is that they are not comfortable, clumsy, tight and well, weird. The little extra rubber on the heel takes some getting used to and the overall size feels like wearing a Moon boot (imaging a Moon boot would be big, clumsy). But after break-in, (about a week) the weirdness abated and all good. The shoe opens up nicely after about a week of wearing and they are super, super comfortable. I'm 5'11, 200lbs, lower back issues, requisite aches/pains collected from six decades on Earth and from walking its surface so much and so far, no issues with the G-Defyers - no shin, knee pain, feet don't hurt, etc. It comes with a couple of extra inserts and I tried those and they didn't work well, but your results may vary. I inserted my Obeo orthos from Walking Store and perfecto. Jury is out on whether these last more than a box of Kleenex, but so far so good. I have 2 pairs that I rotate in and out for longevity along with a pair of Brooks Glycerin GTS that are also excellent for walking. Recommended if you do a lot of walking, have a dog that runs like a Tesla.

Shoe was too heavy for what I wanted, need lighter shoe

If you don't have pain, this is not a gain.

I went through 3 exchanges and ended up going with Hoka Bondi. The toe box fits shorter than my regular size, so I went from 11 to 11.5 to 12. However, the size 12 didn't come with the Perfect-Fit inserts (they were supposed to be in there). Zappos couldn't send replacements and referred me to GDefy. GDefy said they couldn't help me with the inserts (even though I was willing to pay for them) stating it wasn't their problem because I didn't buy from them. The heel strike on these shoes is awkward. It feels as if the shape of the heel isn't properly contoured along with an awkward, outward angle.

The style and finish appear to be top notch. However because they seem to run at least 1/2 size small, I can't rightly report as to the comfort. I was disappointed because i was almost the "first kid on my block" to have a pair. The zappos free return does help greatly, I will probably go back to ASICS as they always fit and have always lasted a long time.

After wearing these a couple of weeks, I kind of wish I had returned them. I got the widest size available, but they are too narrow and border on being uncomfortable.

These are a size 12 even though they are marked as 13 ….

These are a good size fit, but that is it. The arch support is in the wrong spot on my right shoe so not sure what happened there.

The shoe has too much toe lift. It's literally a curved shoe.
