I really wanted to love these beautiful boots. So much so that I purchased two additional sets of tassles. I managed to zip them over my slim calves and skinny jeans but the footbed was too wide/loose for my narrow foot. And the very snug upper hit a bit high at my knee (I'm 5'4") and seemed uncomfortable. The suede is gorgeous, the heel perfect, the packaging special. Just not right for me.

LOVE these boots...everything about them however, it wasn't easy getting into them, especially since I have high arches...so I had to return them. I got my foot in and it was "ok" but I knew that if I was to wear them, that I would be in pain. I'm disappointed. :(

I purchased a size 9, which is my true size. I could barely get my foot in them and once they were on, I had to get help pulling them off. I returned them and got a size 10W, because they (9M) felt snug width wise. The 10W fit much better; however, the shaft of the boot was much bigger, making it appear like it was an extra wide shaft. The size 9 boot was very fitting on the shaft. Also, when I sat down, the top of the boot cut into the back of my knee, not comfortable. I'm going to try a 10M and hopefully the third time will be the charm! Side note, the first pair of boots were the only thing in the box, the second pair were packaged beautifully and came with individual bags to store the boots in.

Beautiful but sadly very stiff and uncomfortable… they feel like they will break my feet before I can break them in !

I bought the navy suede sporting fit and they are a perfect fit. I have one leg fatter than the other from a blood clot in my calf so was worried they might be tight but not at all. I can wear them with socks or tights and feel very comfortable. I am a size 4 and they are true to size. The navy is very dark almost black but in the daylight you can see they are navy. Tempted to order a bag now!

Beautiful boots that Im so excited to wear. The inside of boots show how wonderful the construction & quality of leather are. Beautiful suede thats feels so supple and rich in colour. I choose navy as first pair. Id love to see them in a wider foot as they are uncomfortable to break in for a curvy girl with wide foot.

Up to the usual standard in every way! If you're used to the flat boots, you might want to go a size up with the heeled...

I really love the quality of these boots. Although they didn't fit me i have replaced with minimal fuss and maximum service delivery so all in all a happy customer

Lovely boots, beautifully made. They do need a little effort to wear in and Im still in the process of doing this. I have checked with F&F to ensure I have the correct fitting snd they have confirmed that I do. Im going to persevere and hopefully they will become more comfortable soon.

Beautifully made boots. The only criticism I would have is the length of the boot for a lady with shorter legs. Maybe in future as well as the sporting fit they could be a slightly shorter in length regina?

These were bought as a 21st birthday present for my daughter who loves all things fairfax & favour! She absolutely loves them and wore them for a whole day out at the races for the first time with no issues at all. A very successful present!

Gorgeous boots but I had to exchange for the regular fit as they just wouldnt do up. On measuring it did say that the narrow would be the best fit but the regular are perfect. Stunning shape and beautifully packaged.

Lovely boots but different fit to Explorers. I am normally a 6 but size up but the 7 very tight around the foot and difficult to get off. Have had to send back to see if the 7.5 feel better

I absolutely love the boots but they are too high in the length.Its great that you do narrow fit for the slimmer legs but it's a shame that you can't do a shorter fit for us shorter people :relieved:

Gorgeous boots but I sent them back because I didnt think they fit.... wish I'd watched the You Tube videos first about the freezer bag and also about doing the zip gradually. Will probably reorder and try again. I'd ordered a size 9 (I'm usually a size 8) and the foot size felt ok, once I'd managed to lever my foot into them (will use the freezer bag next time). The calf seemed way to small, but again watching the videos I'll see if I can pull it a bit more round. According to the size guide, they should fit my calfs....

Beautifully crafted boots. A bit narrow if you have a high instep and will take time to wear in to be comfortable but allowing for that and time to stretch the design is excellent, great length too.

Nice boots to add to my collection. I have every pair apart from the pink ones. Lovely deep navy, almost black in comparison to my royal blue boots. My only issue is that I feel the sizings have changed, this was my third pair that I tried, I usually buy a size 4 but had to buy a size 5 regular as couldnt get my foot into the 4 at all! I worry that because they stretch so much with wear that eventually theyll be too big for me, just like my other older size 5s that I have from years ago. 4 stars because of sizing change.

I am 5’3” and small boned, and I have a problem getting knee high boots as the calf is often too large on, so I thought this boot would be perfect. This boot was incredibly uncomfortable - I couldn’t wait to take it off and didn’t even try on the other one - as it pinched the top of my calf and the back of my knee - as in nerve damage if you wear it too long kind of pressure. It must have been designed for a 5’11’ supermodel who not only weighs about 100lb but has no musculature in the calves, if it was pinching me! Bizarre - but with the price point being so high perhaps that is the company’s intended buyer.

They are just a little too tight on the Calf, hopefully they will loosen!
