These are unisex and are huge on women's feet. I had to send back!

These shoes are sooooo comfortable and I was so excited to find a cute sandal that fit my wide, flat feet with high instep. I have these and a pair of the regular hurricane xlt2. They have NO traction. I was walking outside on cement and it was wet and I slipped and fell. Another time, it was NOT a rainy day, and I slipped inside a store, we couldn't even see water or anything on the ground. The littlest bit of moisture on the ground causes me to loose traction, slip and fall. I've fallen in stores the most on tile. It's embarrassing and shouldn't be an issue. I've never experienced this with any shoe. This was the first pair of shoes I wanted to invest in (I usually buy $30 or less shoes but needed better support) and they really let me down. UNSAFE! I'm giving 2 stars for comfort, but seriously, do not buy unless you plan to walk on carpet only. Lol

confession: i'm a chaco person have been for years. but with their platform soles, these were so cute, i had to give them a go. they are super cute, but they're not supportive (like chacos) and the footbed is so mushy, my foot shifts when i walk. they don't seem to be designed for serious walking and certainly not hiking. these will likely be the only tevas for me.

I have worn Tevas for decades and looked forward to replacing my last pair which was 3 years old. I specifically purchase the Hurricanes because they are sturdy and have a nice arch. This pair gave me blisters across the top strap and I think it's the material that was used. I've never gotten blisters from Tevas before. Also, the footbed felt like plastic and my feet slid around in them. I returned this pair.

I want to start by saying I love way this sandal looks on my foot. I've had several Teva's before but this one doesn't fit my foot properly. The heel is raised slightly more than the front of the platform and no matter how much I tighten the straps my foot keeps pushing forward due to the incline. Again I love the look of the shoe however the functionality is off.

Will be returning shoes. They are super comfortable however the buckle on the strap at the top hurts the top of my foot. My mom and sister tried them on and said the exact same thing before I even mentioned the problem I was having with them. They need to go back and redesign this part of the shoe because you will not be able to walk in these shoes with the buckle pressing against the top of your foot. Trust me do not buy you will be returning also.

At first the sandals were very comfortable. I have problem feet and was hoping they would work well for me. However, now the straps hurt my bunions and the bottoms burn my feet. I am sorry that I've had them to long to return. They may be good for normal feet, but not for me.

Everything else was great except the triangle parts at the top corners. They irritate my feet when walking so I had to return.

Very uncomfortable, not enough arch support, not a good walking shoe, not attractive on the foot.

I wanted to love these but after a day of wearing they have me blisters on my pinky toe. I don't think I can wear anymore unless I wear moleskin too. Very disappointing considering the price tag. Otherwise the support on them is amazing!

This is my third pair of Hurricanes, a show I have loved for years. After two months of normal wearing and walking, the strap broke off from the base (an issue others have reported in recent reviews as well). Since my shoes were well within the warranty period, this should have been a non issue and I should have immediately had a new pair sent to me, right? 3 months and numerous calls/emails/texts to customer service later, I've sent my shoes away for "evaluation" and seemingly no closer to a resolution. Tevas used to be great - and customers used to be able to rely on their customer service. Definitely no longer true!

I have been wearing Tevas for @30 years. Purchased this Hurricane XLT2 in mid-April 2024. The sole separated today on a 3 mile walk, and there is no warranty protection for what is clearly a manufacturer defect. It seems that Teva may be less willing to stand behind its products than other old reliable names in the outdoors business. Frankly, I was surprised. Sadly, I have purchased my last pair.

I absolutely loved the look and fit of these shoes, but after 4 months of normal wear an entire sole began flapping and no easy way to repair. Such a bummer cause my last tevas I'm still wearing after 6 years and just wanted this style. Don't wear for light trail hiking, it appears this is a city shoe.

I've worn Teva sandals over 7 years for hiking. Always purchased the XLT sandals and my spouse wears them as well. Unfortunately the new hurricane xlt anmpsole, I purchased 5 months have fallen apart on a hike today. The sole detached from the left side. I'm only writing this because I fell. I hurt my hip, and knee and will have to recover from injury before I can hike again. I hope this information helps other customers on their decision on which sandal to pick out. Very disappointing.

I watched these shoes for months & finally someone gifted them to me. I LOVED them & wore them frequently. I travel a lot & liked these shoes because they are lightweight, cute, & comfortable. However, about three months after receiving these shoes the sole completely separated from the shoe. I would attach photos but for some reason that's not an option. Yes, I wore the shoes frequently for walking & hiking, but they are advertised as durable & should not have broken after three months of wear. I've tried to email Teva but can't find a customer service address. I cannot attempt to exchange them because I travel full time & am currently in South Asia where I cannot mail them back. I am disappointed in the quality of these shoes, the false advertising, & Teva's customer service.

I wear these shoes to walk around daily and have worn them a few times in the water and on some dirt trails. I have to say I love these shoes- they are extremely comfortable and go with many outfits. That being said, I am very disappointed in the quality of Tevas. This is the second pair I have purchased in the last few years and both have had the same fatal flaw. They just fall apart after a year of regular use( only used in summer). The straps have come out of the sole and the sole itself detaches and flaps around. This is so frustrating because I want to repurchase but I just cannot spend another $80+ dollars on a product that should be "durable" and lasting since it has been promoted as a shoe to "Camp Hike and Explore" in. I believe they need to make their shoes more lasting or at the very least, extend their warranty. To help prevent this issue I suggest that they connect the straps under the sole instead of just sticking it down into the side and gluing them. This is what Chacos do and those shoes last a very long time. From my two out of two experiences, Teva seems to make a product will be thrown in the garbage after a year or two and is therefore too expensive. This is both not good for the environment and the consumers spending hard-earned money on them.
