These shoes almost worked, but the strap between the toes extending to the arch is far too tight. I wear a size medium width shoe, so I was surprised this didn't fit me. Also, these shoes would be better for me if the sole was a little softer and if they had higher arch supports

I probably have 5-6 pair of Vionic Sandals in my closet. They have always been my go to sandal for everything. I spend many hours at work in the summer of my feet, working on rocks that always keep my feet off balance. Because of the abuse my feet get, Vionic were a lifesaver for my feet and were worth every cent. But like others have said, the last couple of pair I got just wasn't the same quality as they used to be. The arch supports were less, the straps were loose and they just don't hold up so well either. I want new ones but afraid to order them and be disappointed.

Ordered medium, but only medium-wide was on the menu. Too high, making them too big!

I've been buying Vionic for many years and my favorites are the Tide Sandals, but it seems that they are too loose to stay on my feet which has caused a problem with the joint in my big toe. I've dealt with Planter Fasciitis for over 30 years and these were the only sandals I could wear to walk long distances. Not any more. I do not have narrow feet at all, and I'm not complaining about the width, it's the straps. I've noticed they even get looser as you wear them. I tried adding adhesive padding under straps, but that's uncomfortable. What happened to these Sandals that I loved so much? So sad!!!

Squeaky - took them on vacation, and they squeaked like crazy! I am considering returning them.

These saved my feet, however you changed them!! They feel like plastic in the footbed and the strap is soooo loose. Why?? Why do you change something that was working for everyone? I'm sure it was sent over seas to pocket more profit. Sad world

They seem slippery and are uncomfortable. I have tried wearing them gradually a little more each day but it doesn't help. I would return them if I could.

I love these sandals in the past. They have have been life savers. I have ordered over 10 pairs in the last few years... They keep me able to walk after years of plantar fasciitis pain...these vionic sandals have been miracle workers and kept this pain away!! But now after ordering new ones I am devastated because the new ones do not have as high of an arch nor is the heel bed as good. In addition, I have to order new pairs more often because the arch support is not staying firm as long as the older ones and the toe thong is stretching after a few months of wear which means the sandal is loose on my foot. I had to have a shoe repair person fix this at an additional cost so they would not fit loose. I see others are reviewing with the same disappointment in arch and heel cup changes and we are all begging you to please go back to the original quality. We are happy to pay the cost of your sandal but need it to be the great quality it use to be. Please please re-look at how you can bring back the quality!

I was really looking forward to getting these new flip-flops from Vionic but was so disappointed. First they were way too big. I wear a 71/2 so I ordered an 8. The general rule is to order up.Then I ordered the Med-Wide. There was no Med. to choose. The straps were way too loose and I couldn't walk in the shoes and keep them on. Also the footbed was very unforgiving. I thought I might exchange them for the Basic but reading the reviews the straps on those were too big also. They would probably be good if you have a wide or a plump foot. I usually love Vionic shoes because of the high arches that really support my feet.

These would be great if they were made for the medium width foot, or even better, a narrow option.

I purchased this shoe to have for inside wear only. Unfortunately the high and very hard arch was very uncomfortable for me. I do not have strong arches in my feet and this sandal was a bad fit for me. It may be okay for others.

TLDR: If your feet are not puffy you will not enjoy walking around in these sandals. If your feet are puffy these sandals will fit perfectly. The straps are not adjustable. I have a wide size 9 foot. I'm 5'7" and about 150 lbs (athletic build). My feet are neither puffy nor bony. The footbed on these sandals are perfect in length and width. The arch support is perfect. But as other reviewers have stated the straps are too loose for a non-puffy-footed person. If your feet are not puffy your feet will slide completely out of the sandal as you're walking - the straps make almost no contact with the top of your foot they're basically hovering about a 1/4-inch above the top of your foot as your standing. While you're walking if they haven't flown off your feet already these flip-flops will slap really hard against the bottom of your foot (much harder than any other pair of flip-flops I've ever worn) when the straps eventually pull the footbeds toward your feet because of the extra length of the straps - your feet are not snug in the sandal. My friend who also has size 9 wide PUFFY feet (she's about 250 lbs not athletic and has noticeably puffier feet) could NOT relate - she thought they were a perfect fit and the straps were a perfect looseness/tightness. Bottom line: the straps are too loose for most people (judging from the comments) and perfect for some.

Having a black soul makes my feet turn black. I have dirty feet every time I wear these things. The rubber soul is very stiff.

I just ordered my second pair of Tide II Toe Post sandals. My first pair are black and I wanted to get another color. I really liked the grey color so I ordered pewter. The color I received is not the same as pictured on the Vionic website. The straps are more of a gold color. Disappointed. I wanted something more neutral so will return.

I bought this sandal (flip flop) and the toe area is very uncomfortable. The square piece above the toe cuts into area between my toes. The arch is very good so don't know if I will keep them and try to get use to piece between toes or return them.

After about 6 months the soles started coming apart. i tried glueing back together but they kept coming apart. Company could not give me a satisfactory answer. these are too expensive for this to happen after only 6-7 months of wear

I've purchased at least a dozen pair of these sandals (beginning when they were called Orthoheel). Have always loved the great arch support -- saved my feet when I developed Plantars Fasciitis. This spring I purchased Tide II and High Tide. Both have very firm foot beds much more inflexible than the originals to the point where they're uncomfortable. In the past I never had to 'break in' these shoes. They always fit perfectly and were comfortable while supportive. These newer foot beds also look cheap (not covered with microfiber). Tide II came only in Med/Wide and is way too wide for my foot. It just flops around. I will return it and keep fingers crossed on High Tide that they become more comfortable.

I have worn these in other colors the past several seasons. The new version has much thinner straps which make the sandal much wider and harder to keep on my foot. The dotted pattern on the footbed is also less distinct adding to the extra width of the sandal. Now I'm afraid to order new ones in other colors in case they too have been ruined by the new less substantial materials. Why did you have to mess with perfection?

I spoke to my podiatrist who recommended this shoe for planters fasciitis and I am disappointed since the sandal is not comfortable as I hopped it would have been. I am disappointed since I thought higher arch support would also provide some cushion / comfort. I find this sandal is quite hard and uncomfortable but I guess I will just have to get used to it since it is good for me. Wish there was a way to get comfort and support for the high cost of this sandal. I have never spent so much $$$ for a sandal that was so uncomfortable!!!

The sandals are great but this companies sizing is too big! Too long and too wide for a normal size 8. Shame - nice shoes. I tried 3 different pairs and had to send them back cause they were more like a size 9.

I buy these every year. This year the size 9 right foot straps are too large and the sandal slips off my foot when walking. I returned them and decided to buy them in a store so I could try them on first. They seemed okay at first but after a few times wearing them for a very short amount of time the right straps are now too large and my foot again slips out. Very disappointed.
