My husband wasn't a fan of these. The black color is very nice and he says he likes how they are light. But he wasn't sure about the support and padding (he's used to cheaper , flat, tennis shoes). I'm sure these will be great for someone else on the trails.

I've ordered 3 pairs of this show and they all squeak. Same spot on all the shoes. Near the inside of the foot at the arch. Something is rubbing/squeaking in the shoe. I'm at a loss on what to do. Might go to a different brand.

The good - extremely cushioned. Great mid sole with tons of return. Would make for a great active recovery or moderate training shoe for trail work for someone
The bad - sizing is hit and miss. Ideally go up a half size or else face toe collisions. Narrow toe box to the point of blisters in the first 10 miles. Coming from NB shoes this is not uncommon, but these are even extreme for me. I did not expect Hoka or Altra toe box but these are NARROW. Also my pair has some strange bunching of material where the upper material of the toe is glued to the very front of the sole. Just on one shoe but oddly enough this shoe seems less narrow in the toe than the other side. Maybe just a bad pair made it through, but overall not impressed with the sizing or construction techniques

Comfort level would probably be great but these are much too narrow for men's shoes

Felt larger. I wear 8.5 and it felt like big 9. The shoes are comfy but I don't like the look. Look old school, not in a good way.

I've tried these shoes twice now-- once in the men's sizing (almost an inch longer compared to the VECTIV Enduris of the same size) and in the women's sizing (fit was better, but still ordered on the conservative side). I have a high volume foot, and even I could not get a solid lock in the shoe. Comfortable, yes, but I could not use this for running.

Love the shoes but toes were glued wrong or something they both have indentation on toes that's not very attractive
Flaw in shoe for shoes or something
Great comfortable shoes though

Very narrow in the front. Poor cushioning for those who run on trail and are expecting stability on an uneven surface.

The shoes were great at first but a month and a half the right sole was coming apart from the shoe. I also noticed the shoe was wearing out on the bottom pretty fast.

My husband thought it had an odd fit and was not comfortable. Back to Zappos for a pair of Ascics!

Way too narrow, almost impossible to walk. Have many other Northface shoes and this is so far narrowest, will try to return/exchange

The shoe was curved on one foot so when I walked forward it took me in another direction.
