These shoes are very comfortable, warm, light weight and the water proofing appears to be good so far. I mainly use these for walking in the cold weather, so some snow & rain and haven't had any issues. Would for sure purchase again!

Incredibly comfortable.

Awesome shoe. Kept dry the entire time on our Rainey hike. Had great grip and support as well. Easy to clean.

Comfortable and perfect for Long walks

I hike 3 days a week in our local hills. These hiking shoes have made it so much easier for me because the soles grip so I don't slip on gravel and the shape of the soles give me a boast forward. The shoes feel comfortable and look good. The only negative is the flat shoe laces. Flat shoe laces tend to twist. Round ones like I had on my last North Face hiking shoes were so much better. But this is a minor issue. Overall, these shoes are great.

Stop trying to find a good trail running shoe. The future is in the past with these Men's Northface VECTIV Fastpack FUTURELIGHT Shoes. I bought these for a recent trip to Ireland, not only for the looks but also because they are waterproof and seemed breathable. They did not disappoint! I switched out the orange laces with black to go more with travel attire, but was able to wear them with jeans and dress pants, looked great. Importantly they feel and felt great the entire trip, on streets, cobble walks, climbing rocks and walking around castles. I had been in PT for plantar fasciitis with definite pain and after two weeks of so much walking and hiking in Ireland I never felt any pain, just comfort and also very grippy and stable. Amazingly we didnt see much rain, but plan to really test out the waterproofness in New England.

Wore these on a multi day backpacking trip with no beak-in period. Lightweight and sturdy at the same time. Got them completely wet wading through a stream and by morning they were nearly dry. Exceeds expectations.

I really like this shoes

Bought these while traveling to replace a pair of bulkier hiking boots. They are so lightweight and comfortable I don't feel like I'm wearing a hiking shoe, but they still gripped like serious hikers all the damp, rooty and rocky trails we crossed in Maine and New England. They say water resistant but these handily kept my feet dry like water"proof" shoes I've owned on simple stream crossings etc. best part? The laces stay tied all day unlike annoying bungee-style laces of other brands I've owned and they look good enough to wear in town when I'm not on the trail. I've been wearing these every day for weeks now on trails from the Smokies to Yellowstone and they are the only hikers I want. Might need to stock up. Get these. As comfy as any trail "runners" and all the capability of the bulkier hiking shoes.

Great shoe for Hiking, walking, fit well and are extremely comfortable.

I like the waterproof shoes, cuz in NW washington always rain a lot. The good thing is, it isn't just waterproof, but also have breathable design, that won't make my foots have steong smell after i wore long time.

Great looking shoe; very comfortable for walking and light hiking. Ended up going up 1/2 - 1 size from usual size.

Was able to get out on a hike in southern California after these arrived and was very please with their performance. Looking forward to getting into wetter conditions to see how they hold up, but I'm very optimistic!

Till now the best hiking show I have owned, so comfortable that I have 3 pairs. In the process of hiking down south in the Yucatn peninsula, all make sure to north face even when hiking south!
