Yes, the boot runs narrow but that was exactly what I needed. I did size up 1/2 size. My toes hurt from my other hiking boots as my feet moved around. I haven't hiked in the boots yet but wore them around the house for two days. No issues but I did replace the insoles with my orthotics for more support. I look forward to many happy days on the trails this fall.

I have a pair of similar trail running shoes and was hoping the toe box would be about the same - unfortunately these were more narrow. They are great otherwise but if you have bunions or a neuroma they may not give enough room for toes to spread out.

Although it is not designed for demanding terrain, I know it in the approach and acclimatization hikes to climb Los Ojos del Salado, the highest volcano in the world. The volcanic terrain is hard but I was able to do my first hikes up to 5,000 meters without major problems. I loved them! I am thinking of buying the same ones for my eldest daughter who wants to start trekking

I have the low top sneakers. These boot/ sneakers are excellent and feel great walking in them

This is a great looking shoe and possibly a comfortable lightweight hiker. But I couldn’t tell fit. These run very small - at least a half size. Possibly more. I wear an 8.5, occasionally will need a 9. I was surprise how tight the 8.5 was - I could barely get it on my foot. Have to return.

I have worn North Face hiking shoes for many years and had confidence in ordering these boots for that reason. The style and construction appeared good however the right boot did not have enough room for my toes (wide options in other styles has been too large for my feet). I was disappointed as these boots were so light weight! I had to return them as I would have been uncomfortable on any length hike.

Really comfortable and light. A bit narrow but for hiking in warmer weather these will be great. I thought the box was empty, the shoes are so light!

The tung is sown to to high top making it annoying to put on and take off. Heal doesn't slide in easily.

Description said to order up half a size but I would need a full size up. The pair I received was mismatched. One shoe was a quarter inch shorter and narrower than the other, I measured. The right shoe felt almost alright but was kind of uncomfortable in the forefoot. The left was way too small. There is moderate cushioning.

I ordered 10.5 which is sometimes my size, if not a 10. Either way it felt so narrow no adjusting the laces could account for the squeeze. Too much money to pay for foot pain. Returned them.
