I'm a field service technician for heavy equipment. While on the job, I often end up covered in oil and or hydraulic fluid. Even so, I prefer these Dickies work pants over the ones my employer offers (Red Kapp). So much so that I purchase these out of my own pocket for the comfort and utility. Also uses zippers and has no Velcro! Finally. Velcro is horrible on utility pants, U.S Army I'm looking directly at you. These Dickies are lightweight, comfortable, and durable. They also resist absorbing fluids. The only hiccup was when the crotch seam ripped after a year, I was squatting and carrying heavy objects. I managed a quick fix with double-sided Gorilla Glue tape, and a month later, they're still holding up through washes and wear. I can't fault the pants for the seam issue, given the stress I put them through considering I often find myself in awkward positions trying to reach a bolt or perform some intricate task. Frankly, I'm surprised they lasted as long as they did. Without hesitation, I ordered another pair. A suggestion for Dickies: consider adding a durable, stretchy material in the crotch area. This would alleviate stress on the stitches when users squat or spread their legs. I don't see it as a quality flaw but rather a potential enhancement for durability. Having spent considerable time on this genuine review, any chance a loyal customer could get a coupon? Inflation's hitting hard these days.

Boyfriend super happy with the fit (plenty of room/relaxed fit), the fabric (nice and sturdy), and especially with the number of pockets.

The pants are very comfortable and light weight. They appear durable and flexible even with the knee pads installed. I am absolutely pleased.

Fit and flex is great. Material is very comfortable and light. Multiple pockets are easily accessible and extremely useful to have. The front pockets began to come undone at the seams creating large holes in the bottom of the pockets after one wash and one use. Nothing a needle and thread couldn't fix.

fit was perfect belt loops could be bigger . Price was way too much !!!!

Great pants they fit a little snug and are shorter than the others of same size maybe it's the material? if I could I'd re order a size up in the waste and 36 for length.Great pants tho I'd highly recommend if can find them in your right size cheers

Great pants with one exception. Where the knee pads go in the fabric seperates from the pants. I have sown them twice already and on both legs. I am a mechanic and had high hopes for these expensive pants.

Had these pants for over 4 months, they are already faded, somehow the side pocket ripped underneath so I can't put stuff in the pocket there is another rip from getting caught on edge of tableand the thread is comingout from being washed so much, I work outdoors all year long So bought them and paid this high price figuring they would last but guess not, I been buying dickies pants for over 20 years but now I will think twice.
