Toe box is a little shallow but other than that very comfortable.

The style is perfect. The material I stitch light and breathable. The fit is narrow. I’m not a wide shoe person as it is very large on my foot. However, this medium width is more of a narrow width. Additionally the shoe had a very low profile and did not feel secured the toe box is elongated and borderline pointy. This could make walking up steps interesting. The vamp(top) of the foot was suffocated by the tight for in that area. I have returned this item. If you have a nice slim foot with a low vamp and give the shoe time to acclimate to the pointy toe box. This show is for you.

I ordered a half a size down based on previous posts. At first there was slippage in the heel so so I decided to wear regular athletic socks. Today I switched to dress socks and the shoes fit perfect! Very stylish shoes!

I usually wear a 9 or 9 1/2 in NIke, have one other pair of Cole Haan shoes in an 8 1/2. After reading the reviews I ordered an 8. First time I put them on it felt like they were squeezing my feet. Wore them around the house a bit and they got more comfortable. Wore them to work yesterday... mix of walking and sitting and they they feel pretty good now. They are the oddest fit I've ever had tho. I have narrow feet and these shoes are narrow. The also don't feel like they have any arch support at all. That said... they look great, they're light and feel pretty good on my feet. Not sure I'd go for these if I was going to do a lot of walking, but for general wear they'd be fine.

Bought size 11's which is the size i wear in Johnston Murphy's (my normal's) because the sizing tool recommended it. The shoes are about a half size too big. They are just big enough the I drag my toe on things and the laces are pulled all the way tight. When they came in I looked to return them for a half size smaller, but there was no stock. Outside of the sizing tool advising me poorly, the shoes are fantastic looking and I'm sure would be extremely comfortable if my foot wasn't sliding back and forth.

The first couple of times I wore these, they were very uncomfortable. The fit was all over the place. They were tight at the front of the foot and loose at the rear of the foot. Upon wearing these for a week or so, they feel better. I normally wear a 15 but after reading the reviews, I bought a 14. If I could change and get a wide size instead of normal, I think the fit would be better because they are still a little snug on the sides and top. They are fairly comfortable regarding the cushion and support on the bottom. That was what I was mainly looking for in a pair of shoes.

Shoes look great, but everyone talking about the awkward sizing is dead on. I went a half size down, and think they fit ok, but they are pretty narrow. A+ for style, IMO, but tough to get a perfect fit. Got them at a good price...would have been let down if paid full price.

These shoes are truly bizarre. I'm a size 10 and have worn size 10 Nikes, Timberlands, Adidas, Converse, etc. for years with no issues. I read recommendations that these are large shoes, so I tried a 9.5 at first and they fit snug in terms of width but had a ton of empty space in the front of the shoe. So, I returned them and went with a size 9. I was shocked to see the 9, a full size smaller than 99% of shoes that fit me, fit well in width but still had several inches of space in the front which made them very uncomfortable. I really like the style and have read great things about the comfort of the shoes, so I'm taking one more shot in the dark and going a full 1.5 sizes down from my regular size 10 to a size 8.5 and will update the review if they wind up fitting.

Fit was long; needed to order again a half size down from normal to get them to fit right. Looking forward to wearing them with work - a nice blend of casual and fancy.

Liked the shoe. Very comfortable material. However, I normally wear a consistent 12 Cole Haan. Not in these. I could get a full finger behind my foot. Combined with the flexible material - these shoes run large. Returned. Unfortunately Zappos was out of 11.5 - so no purchase.

First, this isn't my first pair of Cole Haan shoes. I purchased the white version of this because of the style and color. This is a fair weather or warm climate shoe. I've always found Cole Haan narrow at first. I used a stretch device to make them comfortable for my feet, which are not wide. You can wear them in if you want, but I prefer to avoid the first day of pain. After being stretched, they feel great, but still very snug. Over time they will be very comfortable. I'm spoiled with other brands that feel great right out of the box, but may cost a bit more. It's a quality shoe.
